645/837 (صحيح) عن أنس بن مالك قال: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في السوق، فقال رجل: يا أبا القاسم! فالتفت إليه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. فقال : يا رسول الله! إنما دعوت هذا. فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : "سموا(1) باسمي، ولا تكنّو بكنيتي".
645/837 (Sahih) From Anas ibn Malik who said: The Prophet, peace be upon him, was in the market, and a man said: O Abu al-Qasim! So the Prophet, peace be upon him, turned to him. The man said: O Messenger of Allah! I was only calling this one. So the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Name yourselves with my name, but do not use my kunya."
