577/746 عن سهل بن سعد: " أن أبا أُسيد الساعدي دعا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في عرسه، وكانت امرأته خادمهم يومئذ، وهي العروس. فقالت: [أوقال](2): "أتدرون ما أنقعت لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ أنقعت له تمرات من الليل في تور(3)".
It is narrated from Sahl bin Sa’d that Abu Usaid Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) invited the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to his wedding, and his wife herself was serving the people that day, and she was the bride. So she (the wife) said, or he (the husband) said: Do you know what I had soaked and prepared as nabidh for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? I had soaked some dates in a plate overnight.
