Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "Whenever any believer humbles his face before Allah and asks Him for anything, Allah grants it to him—either Allah gives it to him quickly in this world, or He stores it for him in the Hereafter—as long as he does not act impatiently." They asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What is impatience?" He replied: "That he says: 'I have made many supplications, many supplications, but I do not see that my prayers are being answered.'"
