Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when any Muslim makes a supplication that does not involve sin or severing of family ties, then he is granted one of three things: either Allah quickly grants his supplication, or He stores it for him in the Hereafter, or He removes a similar evil from him. He (the narrator) said: "Then we will make many supplications." He (the Prophet) said: "Allah is even more generous in giving."
