457/586 عن ابن عباس قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم للأشج؛ أشج عبد القيس: "إن فيك لخصلتين يحبهما الله : الحلم، والأناة".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Ashajj (i.e., Ashajj Abdul Qais): "Indeed, there are two qualities in you which Allah loves: forbearance and deliberation in actions."
