Sahih Adab al-Mufrad

Sa'id bin 'Amr bin Sa'id narrates from his father that he said: Hajjaj came to Sayyiduna Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) while I was with him. He asked, "How are you?" He replied, "I am fine." He asked, "Who wounded you?" He replied, "The one who ordered weapons to be raised on the day when raising weapons was not permissible," meaning Hajjaj wounded him (since he ordered his army to fight).
