باب من لم يواجه الناس بكلامهChapter: One who does not confront people with his words
Hadith 338

338/436 عن عائشة: صنع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم شيئاً، فرخص فيه، فتنزّه عنه قومٌ، فبلغ ذلك النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فخطب، فحمد الله، ثم قال: " ما بال أقوام يتنزهون عن الشيء أصنعه ؟ فوالله ! إني لأعلمهم بالله، وأشدهم له خشية ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did an act and granted a concession in it. A group of people abstained from it. When this matter reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he delivered a sermon, praised Allah, and then said: "What is the matter with some people? They abstain from participating in the act which I have done. By Allah, I know Allah better than them and I fear Him more than they do."
