Hadith 260

Muhjan al-Aslami said that Raja narrated: One day I was coming with Muhjan until we stopped at the mosque of the people of Basra, and Buraydah al-Aslami was sitting at one of the doors of the mosque. He says: And there was a man in the mosque whose name was Sakbah, and he used to pray for a very long time. When we reached the door of the mosque, Buraydah was wrapped in a cloak and he was a man who liked to joke and laugh. He said: O Muhjan! Do you pray like Sakbah prays? Muhjan did not answer him and turned back. Muhjan says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand and we started walking until we climbed Mount Uhud, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) looked towards Madinah and said: "Woe to this village, its inhabitants will abandon it when it is very populated. The Dajjal will come to it and he will find an angel at each of its gates, so he will not be able to enter it." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) descended. When we reached the mosque, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying, bowing and prostrating repeatedly, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me: "Who is this?" I began to praise him excessively. I said: O Messenger of Allah! He is so-and-so and so-and-so. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stop, do not let him hear, otherwise you will destroy him." It is narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) walked until he reached his apartments, but when he got there, he (peace and blessings be upon him) dusted off his hands and then said: "The best of your religion is that which is easiest, the best of your religion is that which is easiest." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times.
