باب يحثى فى وجوه المداحينThrowing dust in the faces of flatterers

258/339 (صحيح) عن أبي معمر قال: قام رجل يثني على أمير من الأمراء، فجعل المقداد يحثى في وجهه التراب وقال: " أمرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن نحثي في وجوه المداحين التراب".
It is narrated from Abu Muammar, he said: A man stood up and began to praise one of the rulers among the rulers, so Sayyiduna Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) started throwing dust on his face and said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to throw dust on the faces of those who praise others.
