Hadith 252

Ikrimah says: I do not know whether it was Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) or his cousin, which of the two prepared food for his companion? The situation was that a slave girl was working in front of them, when one of them said to the slave girl: "O wicked one!" The other said: "Stop! If this slave girl cannot enforce the punishment on you in this world, she will enforce it in the Hereafter." The other said: "Please tell me, if this is really the case." He said: "Allah does not love those who speak foolishly or those who speak affectedly." It was Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) who said this sentence: «إن الله لا يحب الفاحش المتفحش» .
