244/321 (صحيح) - عن أبي هريرة قال: قيل: يا رسول الله ! ادع الله على المشركين. قال: "إني لم أبعث لعّاناً، ولكن بعثت رحمةً".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said that it was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! Pray against the polytheists. He replied: "I was not sent as one who curses, rather I was sent as a mercy."
