152/208 عن أبي هريرة؛ أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : " العبد المسلم إذا أدى حق الله وحق سيده، له أجران". والذي نفس أبي هريرة بيده! لولا الجهاد في سبيل الله، والحج، وبر أمي، لأحببت أن أموت مملوكاً.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a Muslim slave fulfills the rights of Allah and the rights of his master, he will have a double reward. (Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah said:) By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurairah! If striving in the way of Allah, Hajj, and good conduct with my mother did not prevent me, I would have liked that I die in the state that I am a slave."
