Umrah narrates that Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) made one of her slave girls a mudabbirah (i.e., she said to her, "You will be free after my death"). After that, Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) fell ill. Her nephews called a physician from a Sudanese (Indian) tribe. He said: "You are telling me about a woman who has been bewitched by her slave girl." Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was informed of this. So she asked the slave girl: "Did you bewitch me?" She said: "Yes." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) asked: "Why did you bewitch me? Now you will never be saved." Then she said: "Sell her to some ill-mannered Bedouin."
