An Old Man’s Wish for Long Life and Wealth
Hadith 99
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الشَّيْخُ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ : طُولِ الْحَيَاةِ، وَكَثْرَةِ الْمَالِ "
And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "An old man remains young in two things: first, in hoping and wishing for a long life; second, in desiring abundance of wealth."
