Hadith 80
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيَفْرَحُ أَحَدُكُمْ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ إِذَا ضَلَّتْ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ وَجَدَهَا ؟ " قَالُوا : نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَلَّهُ أَشَدُّ فَرَحًا بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ إِذَا تَابَ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ إِذَا وَجَدَهَا "
And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If any one of you were to lose his mount and then find it, would he be happy?" The companions, may Allah be pleased with them, replied: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By Him in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! Allah is far more pleased with the repentance of His servant than you are when you find your lost mount."
