Hadith 65
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فِي بُرْدَيْنِ وَقَدْ أَعْجَبَتْهُ نَفْسُهُ، خُسِفَ بِهِ الأَرْضُ فَهُوَ يَتَجَلْجَلُ فِيهَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ "
And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A man was walking arrogantly in two garments, and he was overcome with self-conceit, so (by the command of Allah) he was caused to sink into the earth, and he will remain (in that state) until the Day of Resurrection."
