The Smell of the Fasting Person’s Mouth is Better than Musk
Hadith 17
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَخَلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ، يَذَرُ شَهْوَتَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ مِنْ جَرَّايَ، فَالصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ "
And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is more beloved and purer to Allah than the fragrance of musk. (Allah Almighty says) The servant leaves his desires, his food, and his drink for My sake, so fasting is for Me and I alone will reward it."
