The Virtue of the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him)
Hadith 1
هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " نَحْنُ الآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، بَيْدَ أَنَّهُمْ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ، وَأُوتِينَاهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ، فَهَذَا يَوْمُهُمُ الَّذِي فُرِضَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ، فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهُ، فَهُمْ لَنَا فِيهِ تَبَعٌ فَالْيَهُودُ غَدًا وَالنَّصَارَى بَعْدَ غَدٍ "
It is narrated from the Chief of the Prophets, Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "Although we are the last of all nations, on the Day of Resurrection we will be the foremost. The only difference is that the Book was given to them before us, and to us after them. Thus, this (Friday) was also their day which was made obligatory upon them. (But) they differed concerning it, so Allah Almighty guided us to this day, and thus they followed us in it. The Jews will be (gathered) on the second day, and the Christians on the third day."
