قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَصُومُ الْمَرْأَةُ وَبَعْلُهَا شَاهِدٌ إِلا بِإِذْنِهِ، وَلا تَأْذَنُ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَهُوَ شَاهِدٌ إِلا بِإِذْنِهِ، وَمَا أَنْفَقَتْ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَمْرِهِ فَإِنَّ نِصْفَ أَجْرِهِ لَهُ "
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No woman should observe (optional) fasting in the presence of her husband without his permission, nor allow anyone to enter his house without his permission. (However,) if she spends anything from his earnings without his permission, half of the reward for that spending will go to her husband."
