The Coccyx Bone is Not Consumed by the Earth
Hadith 68
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ فِي الإِنْسَانِ عَظْمًا لا تَأْكُلُهُ الأَرْضُ أَبَدًا، فِيهِ يُرَكَّبُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ "، قَالُوا : أَيُّ عَظْمٍ ؟ قَالَ : " عَجْبُ الذَّنَبِ "، وَقَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ : إِنَّمَا هُوَ عَجْمُ، وَلَكِنَّهُ قَالَ بِالْمِيمِ
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is a bone in a human being which the earth never consumes; from that bone, people will be recreated on the Day of Resurrection." The Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Which bone is that?" He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is the backbone."
