´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “When anyone of you gets up to pray at night, and his tongue stumbles over the words of the Qur’an, and he does not know what he is saying, let him lie down.”
Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefit: The meaning of the Qur'an becoming difficult is that, due to drowsiness, reciting the Qur'an becomes difficult, and because of sleepiness, one is not even able to understand the words one is uttering. In such a case, one should stop the prayer and recitation, and lie down to sleep.
