Hadith 1406
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، أَنْبَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ ، وَصَلَاةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ " .
´It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “One prayer in my mosque is better than one thousand prayers elsewhere, except the Sacred Mosque, and one prayer in the Sacred Mosque is better than one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere.”
Hadith 1454
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيُّ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ ذُؤَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، وَقَدْ شَقَّ بَصَرُهُ ، فَأَغْمَضَهُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الرُّوحَ إِذَا قُبِضَ تَبِعَهُ الْبَصَرُ " .
´It was narrated that Umm Salamah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon Abu Salamah (after he had died), and his eyes were wide open. He closed his eyes, then he said: ‘When the soul is taken, the sight follows it.’”
Hadith 2780
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبَانَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمُ الْآفَاقُ ، وَسَتُفْتَحُ عَلَيْكُمْ مَدِينَةٌ يُقَالُ لَهَا قَزْوِينُ مَنْ رَابَطَ ، فِيهَا أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً كَانَ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ عَمُودٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ عَلَيْهِ زَبَرْجَدَةٌ خَضْرَاءُ ، عَلَيْهَا قُبَّةٌ مِنْ يَاقُوتَةٍ حَمْرَاءَ لَهَا سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مِصْرَاعٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، عَلَى كُلِّ مِصْرَاعٍ زَوْجَةٌ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ " .
´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The horizons will be opened to you, and you will conquer a city called Qazvin. Whoever is stationed there for forty days or forty nights, will have pillars of gold in Paradise, with green chrysolite and topped by a dome of rubies. It will have seventy thousand doors, at each door will be a wife from among the wide-eyed houris.’”
Hadith 3312
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَسَدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ , حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ , عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ , عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ , قَالَ : أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ فَكَلَّمَهُ , فَجَعَلَ تُرْعَدُ فَرَائِصُهُ , فَقَالَ لَهُ : " هَوِّنْ عَلَيْكَ , فَإِنِّي لَسْتُ بِمَلِكٍ , إِنَّمَا أَنَا ابْنُ امْرَأَةٍ تَأْكُلُ الْقَدِيدَ " , قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : إِسْمَاعِيل وَحْدَهُ , وَصَلَهُ .
´It was narrated that Abu Mas`ud said:` “A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and his voice trembled out of awe as he spoke to him. The Prophet said to him, “Be calm, for I am not a king. Verily, I am only the son of a woman who ate dried meat.”
Hadith 4311
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَسَدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَدْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ خَيْثَمَةَ , عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ , عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ , عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خُيِّرْتُ بَيْنَ الشَّفَاعَةِ وَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ نِصْفُ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ , فَاخْتَرْتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ لِأَنَّهَا أَعَمُّ وَأَكْفَى , أَتُرَوْنَهَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَا , وَلَكِنَّهَا لِلْمُذْنِبِينَ الْخَطَّائِينَ الْمُتَلَوِّثِينَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “I was given the choice between being admitted to Paradise, and I chose intercession, because it is more general and more sufficient. Do you think it is for the pious? No, it is for the impure sinners.”
