Hadith 551
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجُ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ سَجْدَةً مِنَ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا ، وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ سَجْدَةً مِنَ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "Whoever catches up with a prostration of Subh before the sun rises, then he has caught up with it; and whoever catches up with a prostration of 'Asr before the sun sets, then he has caught up with it."
Hadith 784
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ رَجَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ ضَمْعَجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُؤَمُّ الرَّجُلُ فِي سُلْطَانِهِ وَلَا يُجْلَسُ عَلَى تَكْرِمَتِهِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Masud said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'A man should not be led in prayer in his place of authority, and no one should sit in his place of honor except with his permission."'
Hadith 861
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ مَوْلَى مَيْمُونَةَ قال : رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ جَالِسًا عَلَى الْبَلَاطِ وَالنَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ قُلْتُ : يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا لَكَ لَا تُصَلِّي قال : إِنِّي قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا تُعَادُ الصَّلَاةُ فِي يَوْمٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated that Sulaiman - the freed slave of Maimunah - said:` "I saw Ibn 'Umar sitting in Al-Balat when the people were praying. I said: '0 Abu 'Abdur- Rahman, why are you not praying?' He said: 'I have already prayed, and I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Do not repeat a prayer twice in one day."
Hadith 3055
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْضَعَ فِي وَادِي مُحَسِّرٍ " .
´It was narrated from Jabir that:` the Prophet hurried in the valley of Muhassir.
Hadith 3230
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى هُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّ مَرْثَدَ بْنَ أَبِي مَرْثَدٍ الْغَنَوِيَّ ، وَكَانَ رَجُلًا شَدِيدًا ، وَكَانَ يَحْمِلُ الْأُسَارَى مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ ، قَالَ : فَدَعَوْتُ رَجُلًا لِأَحْمِلَهُ وَكَانَ بِمَكَّةَ بَغِيٌّ ، يُقَالُ لَهَا عَنَاقُ وَكَانَتْ صَدِيقَتَهُ ، خَرَجَتْ ، فَرَأَتْ سَوَادِي فِي ظِلِّ الْحَائِطِ ، فَقَالَتْ : مَنْ هَذَا مَرْثَدٌ مَرْحَبًا وَأَهْلًا يَا مَرْثَدُ انْطَلِقْ اللَّيْلَةَ ، فَبِتْ عِنْدَنَا فِي الرَّحْلِ ، قُلْتُ : يَا عَنَاقُ , إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ الزِّنَا " , قَالَتْ : يَا أَهْلَ الْخِيَامِ هَذَا الدُّلْدُلُ هَذَا الَّذِي يَحْمِلُ أُسَرَاءَكُمْ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ ، فَسَلَكْتُ الْخَنْدَمَةَ ، فَطَلَبَنِي ثَمَانِيَةٌ ، فَجَاءُوا حَتَّى قَامُوا عَلَى رَأْسِي ، فَبَالُوا ، فَطَارَ بَوْلُهُمْ عَلَيَّ وَأَعْمَاهُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِّي ، فَجِئْتُ إِلَى صَاحِبِي ، فَحَمَلْتُهُ ، فَلَمَّا انْتَهَيْتُ بِهِ إِلَى الْأَرَاكِ فَكَكْتُ عَنْهُ كَبْلَهُ فَجِئْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ : أَنْكِحُ عَنَاقَ فَسَكَتَ عَنِّي ، فَنَزَلَتْ : وَالزَّانِيَةُ لا يَنْكِحُهَا إِلا زَانٍ أَوْ مُشْرِكٌ سورة النور آية 3 ، فَدَعَانِي فَقَرَأَهَا عَلَيَّ وَقَالَ : " لَا تَنْكِحْهَا " .
´Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib:` It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that Marthad bin Abi Marthad Al-Ghanawi --a strong man who used to take the prisoners from Makkah to Al-Madinah-- said: "I arranged with a man to bring him (from Makkah to Al-Madinah). There was a prostitute in Makkah who was called 'Anaq, and she was his friend. She came out and saw my shadow on the wall, and said: 'Who is this? Marthad? Welcome, O Marthad, come tonight and stay at our place.' I said: 'O 'Anaq, the Messenger of Allah has forbidden adultery.' She said: 'O people of the tents, this porcupine is the one who is taking your prisoners from Makkah to Al-Madinah!' I headed toward (the mountain of) Al-Khandamah, and eight men came after me. They came and stood over my head, and they urinated, and their urine reached me, but Allah caused them not to see me. Then I went to my companion (the prisoner) and brought him to Al-Arak, where I undid his fetters. Then I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I marry 'Anaq?' He remained silent and did not answer me, then the following was revealed: 'And the adulteress-fornicator, none marries her except an adulterer-fornicator or an idolater.' He called me and recited them to me and said: 'Do not marry her.'"
Hadith 3307
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : ذُكِرَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنْتُ حَمْزَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ " , قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : هَذَا سَمِعَهُ قَتَادَةُ مِنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "Mention was made to the Messenger of Allah of the daughter of Hamzah (as a potential wife). He said: 'She is the daughter of my brother through breast-feeding.'" (One of the narrators) Shu'bah said: "Qatadah heard this from Jabir bin Zaid."
Hadith 3823
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى , عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَخْنَسِ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ جَدِّهِ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا نَذْرَ وَلَا يَمِينَ فِيمَا لَا تَمْلِكُ , وَلَا فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ , وَلَا قَطِيعَةِ رَحِمٍ " .
´'Amr bin Shu'aib narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah said:` "There is no vow and no oath concerning that which one does not possess, nor to commit sin, nor to sever the ties of kinship."
