Hadith 335
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً ، " سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ ، فَقَالَتْ : أَتَقْضِي إِحْدَانَا الصَّلَاةَ أَيَّامَ مَحِيضِهَا ؟ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ ؟ قَدْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ لَا تُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءٍ " .
Mu'adha reported: A woman asked 'A'isha: Should one amongst us complete prayers abandoned during the period of menses? 'A'isha said: Are you a Haruriya? When any one of us during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in her menses (and abandoned prayer) she was not required to complete them.
Hadith 335
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُعَاذَةَ ، " أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَتَقْضِي الْحَائِضُ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ ؟ قَدْ كُنَّ نِسَاءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحِضْنَ ، أَفَأَمَرَهُنَّ أَنْ يَجْزِينَ " ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ : تَعْنِي يَقْضِينَ .
It is reported from Mu'adha that she asked 'A'isha: Should a menstruating woman complete the prayer (abandoned during the menstrual period)? 'A'isha said: Are you a Hurariya? The wives of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) have had their monthly courses, (but) did he order them to make compensation (for the abandoned prayers)? Muhammad bin Ja'far said: (Compensation) denotes their completion.
Hadith 719
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي الرِّشْكَ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي مُعَاذَةُ ، أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، " كَمْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ الضُّحَى ؟ قَالَتْ : أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ ، وَيَزِيدُ مَا شَاءَ " .
Mu'adha asked 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) how many rak'ahs Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) prayed at the forenoon prayer. She replied: Four rak'ahs, but sometimes more as he pleased.
Hadith 719
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ ، وَقَالَ : يَزِيدُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
A hadith like this has been reported by the same chain of transmitters, but with this alteration that the transmitter said: "As Allah pleased."
Hadith 1160
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي مُعَاذَةُ الْعَدَوِيَّةُ ، أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ؟ " ، قَالَتْ : " نَعَمْ " ، فَقُلْتُ لَهَا : " مِنْ أَيِّ أَيَّامِ الشَّهْرِ كَانَ يَصُومُ " ، قَالَتْ : " لَمْ يَكُنْ يُبَالِي مِنْ أَيِّ أَيَّامِ الشَّهْرِ يَصُومُ " .
Mu'adha al-'Adawiyya reported that she asked 'A'isha, the wife of the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) , whether the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed fasts for three days during every month. She said: Yes. I said to her: Which were (the particular) days of the month on which he observed fast? She said: He was not particular about the days of the month on which to observe fast..
Hadith 2649
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ يَحْيَي ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الضُّبَعِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَرِّفٌ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَعُلِمَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ؟ قَالَ : فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : فَفِيمَ يَعْمَلُ الْعَامِلُونَ ؟ قَالَ : " كُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ لِمَا خُلِقَ لَهُ " .
'Imran bin Husain repotted that it was said to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) : Has there been drawn a distinction between the people of Paradise and the denizens of hell? He said: Yes. It was again said: (If it is so), then What is the use of doing good deeds? Thereupon he said: Everyone is facilitated in what has been created for him.
Hadith 2649
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ يَحْيَي ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ كُلُّهُمْ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ ، فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ حَمَّادٍ ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ .
This hadith has been narrated through other chains of transmiters with slight variations of wording.
