Hadith 3072
أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُحَيَّاةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ إِنَّ نَاسًا يَرْمُونَ الْجَمْرَةَ مِنْ فَوْقِ الْعَقَبَةِ ، قَالَ : فَرَمَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " مِنْ هَا هُنَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ رَمَى الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ " .
´It was narrated that Abdur-Rahman - meaning bin Yazid - said:` "It was said to Abdullah bin Masud that some people were stoning the Jamart from above al-Aqabah." He said: "So Abdullah stoned it from the bottom of the valley, then he said: 'From here - by the One beside Whom there is no other God - did the one to whom surat Al-Baqarah was revealed, stone it."
