Hadith 206
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَذَّنَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ مُحْتَسِبًا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ , وَثَوْبَانَ , وَمُعَاوِيَةَ , وَأَنَسٍ , وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ غَرِيبٌ ، وَأَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ اسْمُهُ : يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ ، وَأَبُو حَمْزَةَ السُّكَّرِيُّ اسْمُهُ : مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، وَجَابِرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، ضَعَّفُوهُ تَرَكَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : سَمِعْت الْجَارُودَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ وَكِيعًا يَقُولُ : لَوْلَا جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ لَكَانَ أَهْلُ الْكُوفَةِ بِغَيْرِ حَدِيثٍ ، وَلَوْلَا حَمَّادٌ لَكَانَ أَهْلُ الْكُوفَةِ بِغَيْرِ فِقْهٍ .
´Ibn Abbas narrated:` "The Prophet said: 'Whoever calls the Adhan for seven years, seeking reward for it, salvation from the Fire is written for him.'"
Hadith 1762
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، وَالْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ أَحَبَّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقَمِيصُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ، إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ وَهُوَ مَرْوَزِيٌّ ، وَرَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ أَبِي تُمَيْلَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ .
Umm al-Mu’minin Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the most beloved garment to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the shirt (qamees). © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan ghareeb,
2- We know it only from the narration of ‘Abdul-Mu’min bin Khalid, he is unique in narrating it, he is Marwazi,
3- Some people have narrated this hadith with this chain, «عن أبي تميلة عن عبد المؤمن بن خالد عن عبد الله بن بريدة عن أمه عن أم سلمة».

2- We know it only from the narration of ‘Abdul-Mu’min bin Khalid, he is unique in narrating it, he is Marwazi,

Hadith 1763
حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ أَحَبَّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقَمِيصُ " ، قَالَ : وسَمِعْت مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيل ، يَقُولُ : حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَصَحُّ ، وَإِنَّمَا يُذْكَرُ فِيهِ أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ .
Umm al-Mu'mineen Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the most beloved garment to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the shirt. © Imam Tirmidhi says: I heard Muhammad bin Isma'il say: The hadith of Abdullah bin Buraidah, which is narrated from Umm Salamah through his mother, is more authentic. Abu Tamila would certainly mention «عن امہ» as an intermediary in this hadith.
Hadith 1785
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ، وَأَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ : " جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ فَقَالَ : " مَا لِي أَرَى عَلَيْكَ حِلْيَةَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ " ، ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ وَعَلَيْهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ صُفْرٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا لِي أَجِدُ مِنْكَ رِيحَ الْأَصْنَامِ " ، ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ وَعَلَيْهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَالِي أَرَى عَلَيْكَ حِلْيَةَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ " ، قَالَ : مِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ أَتَّخِذُهُ ، قَالَ : " مِنْ وَرِقٍ وَلَا تُتِمَّهُ مِثْقَالًا " قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ، وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ يُكْنَى أَبَا طَيْبَةَ وَهُوَ مَرْوَزِيٌّ .
Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wearing an iron ring. The Prophet said: "What is the matter? I see that you are wearing the adornment of the people of Hell." Then he came to you wearing a brass ring, and you said: "What is the matter? I smell the odor of idols from you." Then he came to you wearing a gold ring, so you said: "What is the matter? I see that you are wearing the adornment of the people of Paradise." He asked: "What kind of ring should I wear?" You said: "A silver one, and (in weight) keep it less than one mithqal."
© Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is gharib (strange/rare).
2- There is also a narration on this topic from Abdullah bin Amr.
3- The kunyah of Abdullah bin Muslim is Abu Taybah, and he is Abdullah bin Muslim Marwazi.

Hadith 3132
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمَّا انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ، قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ : بِإِصْبَعِهِ فَخَرَقَ بِهِ الْحَجَرَ وَشَدَّ بِهِ الْبُرَاقَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .
´Narrated Ibn Buraidah:` from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When we reached Bait Al-Maqdis, Jibra'il pointed with his finger causing a crack in the rock, and he tied Al-Buraq to it."
