Hadith 104
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَنْطَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُخَيْمِرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ : وَجِعَ أَبُو مُوسَى وَجَعًا فَغُشِيَ عَلَيْهِ ، وَرَأْسُهُ فِي حَجْرِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، فَصَاحَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهَا شَيْئًا ، فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ ، قَالَ : " أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا بَرِئَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَرِئَ مِنَ الصَّالِقَةِ ، وَالْحَالِقَةِ ، وَالشَّاقَّةِ " .
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Burda bin Abu Musa that Abu Musa was afflicted with grave pain and he became unconscious and his head was in the lap of a lady of his household. One of the women of his household walled. He (Abu Musa) was unable (because of weakness) to say anything to her. But when he was a bit recovered he said: I have no concern with one with whom the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has no concern, Verily the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has no concern with that woman who wails loudly, shaves her hair and tears (her garment in grief).
Hadith 1211
حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، لَعَلَّهُ قَالَ : عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرَادَ مِنْ صَفِيَّةَ بَعْضَ مَا يُرِيدُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، فقَالُوا : إِنَّهَا حَائِضٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " وَإِنَّهَا لَحَابِسَتُنَا " ، فقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّهَا قَدْ زَارَتْ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ، قَالَ : " فَلْتَنْفِرْ مَعَكُمْ " .
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) inclined to do with Safiyyah what a man feels inclined to do with his wife. They said: Messenger of Allah, she has entered the state of menses, whereupon he said: (Well) she is going to detain us. They (his wives) said: Messenger of Allah, she performed Tawaf Ziyara (Tawaf Ifada) on the Day of Nahr. Thereupon he said: Then she should proceed along with you.
Hadith 1548
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّجَاشِيِّ مَوْلَى رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، عَنْ رَافِعٍ : أَنَّ ظُهَيْرَ بْنَ رَافِعٍ ، وَهُوَ عَمُّهُ ، قَالَ : أَتَانِي ظُهَيْرٌ ، فَقَالَ : لَقَدْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَمْرٍ كَانَ بِنَا رَافِقًا ، فَقُلْتُ : وَمَا ذَاكَ ؟ مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَهُوَ حَقٌّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلَنِي كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُونَ بِمَحَاقِلِكُمْ ؟ فَقُلْتُ : نُؤَاجِرُهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، عَلَى الرَّبِيعِ ، أَوِ الْأَوْسُقِ مِنَ التَّمْرِ ، أَوِ الشَّعِيرِ ، قَالَ : " فَلَا تَفْعَلُوا ، ازْرَعُوهَا ، أَوْ أَزْرِعُوهَا ، أَوْ أَمْسِكُوهَا " .
Rafi (RA) reported that Zuhair bin Rafi (who was his uncle) came to me and said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade a practice which was useful for us. I said: What is this? (I believe) that whatrver Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) says is absolutely true. He (Zuhair) said that he (the Holy Prophet) asked me: What do you do with your cultivable lands? I said: Allah's Messenger, we rent those irrigated by canals for dry dates or barley. He said: Don't do that. Cultivate them or let them be cultivated (by others) or retain them yourself.
Hadith 1888
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : " رَجُلٌ يُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِمَالِهِ وَنَفْسِهِ " ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ مَنْ ؟ ، قَالَ : " مُؤْمِنٌ فِي شِعْبٍ مِنَ الشِّعَابِ يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ رَبَّهُ وَيَدَعُ النَّاسَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ " .
It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'id Khudri that a man came to the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Who is the best of men? He replied: A man who fights in the way of Allah spending his wealth and staking his life. The man then asked: Who is next to him (in excellence)? He said: Next to him is a believer who lives in a mountain gorge worshipping hid Lord and sparing men from his mischief.
Hadith 1037
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، أَنَّ عُمَيْرَ بْنَ هَانِئٍ ، حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَائِمَةً بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ ، لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ أَوْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ ظَاهِرُونَ عَلَى النَّاسِ " .
It his been narrated on the authority of Umair bin Umm Hani who said: I heard Mu'awiyah say (while delivering a sermon from the pulpit) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: A group of people from my Umma will continue to obey Allah's Command, and those who desert or oppose them shall not be able to do them any harm. They will be dominating the peeple until Allah's Command is executed (i. e. Resurrection is established).
Hadith 1975
وحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ : " أَصْلِحْ هَذَا اللَّحْمَ " ، قَالَ : فَأَصْلَحْتُهُ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْمَدِينَةَ .
Thauban, the freed slave of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) , reported: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to me on the occasion of Hajjat-al-Wada' (the Farewell Pilgrimage): Make the flesh usable. So I made it usable (for him) and he ate it constantly until he reached Madinah.
Hadith 1975
وحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ حَمْزَةَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Yabya bin Hamza with the same chain of transmitters, but he did not say: On the occasion of Hajjat-al-Wada'.
Hadith 2864
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي الْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " تُدْنَى الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ حَتَّى تَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ كَمِقْدَارِ مِيلٍ " ، قَالَ سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ : فَوَاللَّهِ مَا أَدْرِي مَا يَعْنِي بِالْمِيلِ أَمَسَافَةَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ الْمِيلَ الَّذِي تُكْتَحَلُ بِهِ الْعَيْنُ ، قَالَ : " فَيَكُونُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدْرِ أَعْمَالِهِمْ فِي الْعَرَقِ ، فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَى كَعْبَيْهِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكُونُ إِلَى حَقْوَيْهِ ، وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يُلْجِمُهُ الْعَرَقُ إِلْجَامًا " ، قَالَ : وَأَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى فِيهِ .
Miqdad bin Aswad reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: On the Day of Resurrection, the sun would draw so close to the people that there woum be left only a distance of one mile. Sulaim bin Amir said: By Allah, I do not know whether he meant by" mile" the mile of the (material) earth or dn instrument used for applying collyrium to the eye. (The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) is, however, reported to have said): The people would be submerged in perspiration according to their deeds, some up to their. knees, Some up to the waist and some would have the bridle of perspiration and, while saying this, Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) pointed his hand towards his mouth.
Hadith 2944
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يَتْبَعُ الدَّجَّالَ مِنْ يَهُودِ أَصْبَهَانَ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا عَلَيْهِمُ الطَّيَالِسَةُ " .
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: The Dajjal would be followed by seventy thousand Jews of Isfahan wearing Persian shawls.
