Hadith 2613
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ هُرَيْمُ بْنُ مِسْعَرٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَوَعَظَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ , تَصَدَّقْنَ فَإِنَّكُنَّ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ " ، فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ : وَلِمَ ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لِكَثْرَةِ لَعْنِكُنَّ ، يَعْنِي : وَكُفْرِكُنَّ الْعَشِيرَ " ، قَالَ : " وَمَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ نَاقِصَاتِ عَقْلٍ وَدِينٍ أَغْلَبَ لِذَوِي الْأَلْبَابِ وَذَوِي الرَّأْيِ مِنْكُنَّ " ، قَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ : وَمَا نُقْصَانُ دِينِهَا وَعَقْلِهَا : قَالَ : " شَهَادَةُ امْرَأَتَيْنِ مِنْكُنَّ بِشَهَادَةِ رَجُلٍ ، وَنُقْصَانُ دِينِكُنَّ الْحَيْضَةُ تَمْكُثُ إِحْدَاكُنَّ الثَّلَاثَ وَالْأَرْبَعَ لَا تُصَلِّي " وفي الباب عن أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , وَابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
´Narrated Abu Hurairah:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivered a Khtubah in which he exhorted them, then he said: "O women! Give charity for you are the majority of the people of the Fire." A woman among them said: "And why is that O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Because of your cursing so much." - meaning your ungratefulness towards your husbands. He said: "And I have not seen any among those lacking in intellect and religion who are more difficult upon people possessing reason and insight than you." A woman among them said: "And what is the deficiency of her intellect and religion?" He said: "The testimony of two women among you is like the testimony of a man, and the deficiency in your religion is menstruation, because one of you will go three or four days without performing Salat."
Hadith 2892
حَدَّثَنَا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ مِسْعَرٍ تِرْمِذِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَانَ لَا يَنَامُ حَتَّى يَقْرَأَ " الم تَنْزِيلُ " وَ" تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، مِثْلَ هَذَا ، وَرَوَاهُ مُغِيرَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا ، وَرَوَى زُهَيْرٌ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ جَابِرٍ ، فَذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ : إِنَّمَا أَخْبَرَنِيهِ صَفْوَانُ ، أَوِ ابْنُ صَفْوَانَ ، وَكَأَنَّ زُهَيْرًا أَنْكَرَ أَنْ يَكُونَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ .
´Narrated Jabir:` The Prophet (ﷺ) would not sleep until he recited Alif Lam Mim Tanzil and: Tabarak Alladhi Biyadihil-Mulk." This Hadith was reported similarly by more than one from Laith bin Abi Sulaim. Mughirah bin Muslim reported it from Abu Az-Zubair, from Jabir from the Prophet (ﷺ) and it is similar to this. Zuhair reported it and said: "I said to Abu Az-Zubair: 'Did you hear Jabir mentioning this Hadith?' He said: 'Safwan or Ibn Safwan informed me of it.'" It is as if Zuhair rejected the idea that this Hadith was from Abu Az-Zubair from Jabir. (Another chain) with similar in meaning. (Another chain) that Tawus said: "They are seventy good merits more of virtue in it than every Surah in the Qur'an."
Hadith 2892
قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُرَيْمٌ بْنُ مِسْعَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ : تَفْضُلَانِ عَلَى كُلِّ سُورَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ بِسَبْعِينَ حَسَنَةً .
Narrated to us by Hareem bin Mus'ar, he says: Fudail narrated to us, and Fudail narrated from Laith, from Ta'oos, he says: These two surahs «الم تنزیل» and «تبارک الذی بیدہ الملک» have superiority over every surah of the Qur'an equal to seventy good deeds.
