Sunan an-Nasa'i
Hadith 837
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبِالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَكَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعًا وَلِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " .
837. It was narrated from Abu Bakr that the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the fear prayer (Salat Al-Khauf). He led those who were behind him in two Rak'ah and those who came (after them) in two Rak'ah, so the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed four Rak'ahs and each group prayed two.
Hadith 872
أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ زِيَادٍ الْأَعْلَمِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَاكِعٌ فَرَكَعَ دُونَ الصَّفِّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " زَادَكَ اللَّهُ حِرْصًا وَلَا تَعُدْ " .
´Abu Bakrah narrated that he entered the Masjid when the when the Prophet (ﷺ) was bowing, so he bowed outside the row. The Prophet said:` "May Allah increase you in keenness, but do not do this again."
Hadith 1348
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الشَّحَّامِ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ , وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ , فَكُنْتُ أَقُولُهُنَّ , فَقَالَ أَبِي : أَيْ بُنَيَّ , عَمَّنْ أَخَذْتَ هَذَا , قُلْتُ : عَنْكَ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُهُنَّ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ " .
´It was narrated that Muslim bin Abi Bakrah said:` "My father used to say following every prayer: 'Allahumma inni a-udhu bika min al-kufri wal-faqri wa 'adhab al-qabr. ( O Allah, I seek refuge with You from Kufr, poverty, and the torment of the grave)' and I used to say them (these words). My father said: 'O my son, from whom did you learn this?' I said: 'From you. He said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say them following the prayer.'"
Hadith 1411
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى إِسْرَائِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قال : سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَالْحَسَنُ مَعَهُ ، وَهُوَ يُقْبِلُ عَلَى النَّاسِ مَرَّةً وَعَلَيْهِ مَرَّةً , وَيَقُولُ : " إِنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ ، وَلَعَلَّ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَظِيمَتَيْنِ " .
´Abu Bakrah said:` "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on the Minbar, and Al-Hasan was with him. He would turn to the people sometimes and turn to him (Al-Hasan) sometimes, and he said: 'This son of mine is a leader (Sayyid) and Allah may make peace between two large groups of Muslims through him.'"
Hadith 1460
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ ، وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُخَوِّفُ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The sun and moon are two signs of Allah (SWT), the Most High, and they do not become eclipsed for death or birth of anyone, rather Allah (SWT), the Mighty and Sublime, strikes fear into His slaves through them.'"
Hadith 1464
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةٍ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ , وَإِنَّهُمَا لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَصَلُّوا حَتَّى تَنْجَلِيَ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The sun and moon are two signs of Allah(ﷺ), and they do not become eclipsed for the death or birth of anyone. If you see that then pray until it (the eclipse) is over.'"
Hadith 1465
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ , وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قال : " كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ , فَوَثَبَ يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى انْجَلَتْ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "We were sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) when the sun became eclipsed. He leapt up, dragging his garment and prayed two rak'ahs until the eclipse was over."
Hadith 1492
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قال : كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَانْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجُرُّ رِدَاءَهُ , حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَثَابَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، فَلَمَّا انْكَشَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يُخَوِّفُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَا يَخْسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَصَلُّوا حَتَّى يُكْشَفَ مَا بِكُمْ " وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ ابْنًا لَهُ مَاتَ يُقَالُ لَهُ : إِبْرَاهِيمُ , فَقَالَ لَهُ نَاسٌ فِي ذَلِكَ .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when the sun became eclipsed. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out dragging his garment, until he came to the masjid, and the people gathered around him. He led us in praying two rak'ahs and when (the eclipse) ended he said: 'The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah (SWT) by means of which Allah (SWT), the Mighty and Sublime, strikes fear into His slaves. They do not become eclipsed for the death or birth of anyone. If you see that, then pray until Allah (SWT)r relieves you of fear.' That was because his son named Ibrahim had died, and the people suggested to him that (the eclipse) happened because of that."
Hadith 1493
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ , " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِثْلَ صَلَاتِكُمْ هَذِهِ " وَذَكَرَ كُسُوفَ الشَّمْسِ .
´It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed two rak'ahs like this prayer of yours, and he mentioned the eclipse of the sun.
Hadith 1503
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قال : " كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَانْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَامَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ يَجُرُّ رِدَاءَهُ مِنَ الْعَجَلَةِ ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ كَمَا يُصَلُّونَ فَلَمَّا انْجَلَتْ خَطَبَنَا , فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يُخَوِّفُ بِهِمَا عِبَادَهُ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ كُسُوفَ أَحَدِهِمَا فَصَلُّوا وَادْعُوا حَتَّى يَنْكَشِفَ مَا بِكُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) and the sun became eclipsed. He got up and went to the masjid, dragging his garment in haste. The people stood with him and he prayed two rak'ahs as they usually prayed. When the eclipse ended he addressed us and said 'The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah (SWT), with which He strikes fear into His slaves. They do not become eclipsed for the death or birth of anyone. If you see either of them being eclipsed, then pray and supplicate until it removed it from you.'"
Hadith 1552
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى , وَإِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى بِالْقَوْمِ فِي الْخَوْفِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ , ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِالْقَوْمِ الْآخَرِينَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ , فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعًا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led the people in offering the fear prayer, two rak'ahs. Then he said the taslim and led others in offering the fear prayer, then he said the taslim. So the Prophet (ﷺ) had prayed four rak'ahs.
Hadith 1556
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْعَثُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ : " صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِالَّذِينَ خَلْفَهُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا بَعْدُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ , فَكَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعُ رَكَعَاتٍ وَلِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) offered the fear prayer with those who were behind him, praying two rak'ahs (with them) and two rak'ahs with those who came after them, so the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed four rak'ahs and the others each prayed two rak'ahs.
Hadith 1913
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يُونُسَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، قال : " شَهِدْتُ جَنَازَةَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، وَخَرَجَ زِيَادٌ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّرِيرِ , فَجَعَلَ رِجَالٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَمَوَالِيهِمْ يَسْتَقْبِلُونَ السَّرِيرَ وَيَمْشُونَ عَلَى أَعْقَابِهِمْ وَيَقُولُونَ : رُوَيْدًا رُوَيْدًا بَارَكَ اللَّهُ فِيكُمْ , فَكَانُوا يَدِبُّونَ دَبِيبًا حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِبَعْضِ طَرِيقِ الْمِرْبَدِ لَحِقَنَا أَبُو بَكْرَةَ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى الَّذِي يَصْنَعُونَ حَمَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِبَغْلَتِهِ وَأَهْوَى إِلَيْهِمْ بِالسَّوْطِ , وَقَالَ : خَلُّوا , فَوَالَّذِي أَكْرَمَ وَجْهَ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّا لَنَكَادُ نَرْمُلُ بِهَا رَمَلًا فَانْبَسَطَ الْقَوْمُ " .
´Uyaynah bin 'Abdur-Rahman bin Jawsh said:` "My father told me: I witnessed the funeral of 'Abdur-Rahamn bin Samurah. Ziyad came out, walking in front of the bier, and some men from the family of 'Abdur-Rahman and their freed slaves came out, facing the bier and walking backward, saying: 'Slow down, slow down, may Allah bless you.' And they were walking slowly. Then when they were partway to Al-Mrbad, Abu Bakrah joined us on his mule. When he saw what they were doing, he rushed to them on his mule, brandishing his whip, and said: 'Move on, for by the One Who honored the face of Abu Al-Qasim, I remember when we were with the Messenger of Allah, we were walking fast, so the people speeded up."'
Hadith 1914
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، وَهُشَيْمٌ , عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قال : " لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّا لَنَكَادُ نَرْمُلُ بِهَا رَمَلًا " , وَاللَّفْظُ حَدِيثُ هُشَيْمٍ .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "I remember when we were with the Messnger of Allah, and we were walking fast with it (the Janazah)." This is the wording of Hushaim.
Hadith 2111
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُهَلَّبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ . ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ الْمُهَلَّبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ صُمْتُ رَمَضَانَ ، وَلَا قُمْتُهُ كُلَّهُ " ، وَلَا أَدْرِي كَرِهَ التَّزْكِيَةَ ، أَوْ قَالَ : لَا بُدَّ مِنْ غَفْلَةٍ وَرَقْدَةٍ اللَّفْظُ لِعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ .
´It was narrated from abu Bakrah that the Prophet said; 'None of you should say:` 'I fasted Ramadan' or 'I prayed Qiyam throughout the whole month."' I do not know whether he dislike self-praise or he said: "Inevitably there will be heedlessness and sleep." (Da 'if)
Hadith 4121
أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْصُورٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رِبْعِيًّا يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَشَارَ الْمُسْلِمُ عَلَى أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ بِالسِّلَاحِ , فَهُمَا عَلَى جُرُفِ جَهَنَّمَ ، فَإِذَا قَتَلَهُ خَرَّا جَمِيعًا فِيهَا " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'If a Muslim points a weapon at his fellow Muslim, then they are on the brink of Hell, and if he kills him, then they will both fall into it.'"
Hadith 4122
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا حَمَلَ الرَّجُلَانِ الْمُسْلِمَانِ السِّلَاحَ أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَى الْآخَرِ , فَهُمَا عَلَى جُرُفِ جَهَنَّمَ ، فَإِذَا قَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْآخَرَ فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "If two Muslim men bear weapons against each other, then they are both on the brink of Hell. And if one of them kills the other, they will both be in Hell."
Hadith 4125
أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا يُرِيدُ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ , فَهُمَا فِي النَّارِ " . قِيلَ لَهُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَرِيصًا عَلَى قَتْلِ صَاحِبِهِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that :` The Prophet [SAW] said: "If two Muslims confront each other with swords, each of them wanting to kill the other, they will both be in Hell." It was said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He was determined to kill his companion."
Hadith 4126
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْخَلِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا الْتَقَى الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا ، فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ ، فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "The Messenger [SAW] said: 'If two Muslims meet (and fight) with their swords and one of them kills the other, the killer and the slain will both be in Hell.'"
Hadith 4127
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ الْأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِذَا تَوَاجَهَ الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا ، فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ ، فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ " ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَذَا الْقَاتِلُ , فَمَا بَالُ الْمَقْتُولِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ أَرَادَ قَتْلَ صَاحِبِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'If two Muslims confront each other with their swords and one of them kills the other, both the killer and the slain will be in Hell.'" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, (we understand about) the killer, but what about the one who is killed?" He said: "He wanted to kill his companion."
Hadith 4128
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، وَيُونُسَ ، وَالْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ الْأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا الْتَقَى الْمُسْلِمَانِ بِسَيْفَيْهِمَا ، فَقَتَلَ أَحَدُهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ ، فَالْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'If two Muslims fight with swords, and one of them kills the other, then the killer and the slain will both be in Hell.'"
Hadith 4135
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي ضُلَّالًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that:` The Prophet [SAW] said: "Do not revert to misguidance after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another)."
Hadith 4394
أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ كَأَنَّهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ إِلَى كَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ فَذَبَحَهُمَا ، وَإِلَى جُذَيْعَةٍ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ فَقَسَمَهَا بَيْنَنَا " .
´It was narrated from 'Adbur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah that his father said:` "Then he" meaning the Prophet on the Day of Sacrifice - "Went toward two Amlah rams and sacrificed them, then (he went toward) a small flock of sheep and distributed them among us." (Sahih )
Hadith 4582
وَفِيمَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاق , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْفِضَّةِ بِالْفِضَّةِ , وَالذَّهَبِ بِالذَّهَبِ , إِلَّا سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ , وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَبْتَاعَ الذَّهَبَ بِالْفِضَّةِ كَيْفَ شِئْنَا , وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالذَّهَبِ كَيْفَ شِئْنَا " .
´'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah narrated that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah forbade selling silver for silver and gold for gold, unless it was of equal amounts. And he told us to sell gold for silver however we wanted, and silver for gold however we wanted.
Hadith 4583
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ , عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَبِيعَ الْفِضَّةَ بِالْفِضَّةِ إِلَّا عَيْنًا بِعَيْنٍ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ , وَلَا نَبِيعَ الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ , إِلَّا عَيْنًا بِعَيْنٍ سَوَاءً بِسَوَاءٍ , قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَبَايَعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالْفِضَّةِ كَيْفَ شِئْتُمْ , وَالْفِضَّةَ بِالذَّهَبِ كَيْفَ شِئْتُمْ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah forbade us from selling silver for silver unless it was of equal amounts, or selling gold for gold unless it was of equal amounts. The messenger of Allah said: 'Sell gold for silver however you want, and silver for gold however you want."'
Hadith 4751
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهِدًا فِي غَيْرِ كُنْهِهِ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ " .
´Abu Bakrah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever kills a Mu'ahad with no justification, Allah will forbid Paradise to him."
Hadith 4752
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ ثُرْمُلَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهِدَةً بِغَيْرِ حِلِّهَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ أَنْ يَشُمَّ رِيحَهَا " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever kills a Mu'ahad with no justification, Allah will forbid Paradise to him and he will not even smell its fragrance."
Hadith 5390
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : عَصَمَنِي اللَّهُ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا هَلَكَ كِسْرَى قَالَ : " مَنِ اسْتَخْلَفُوا ؟ " , قَالُوا : بِنْتَهُ ، قَالَ : " لَنْ يُفْلِحَ قَوْمٌ وَلَّوْا أَمْرَهُمُ امْرَأَةً " .
´It was narrated that Abu Bakrah said:` "Allah protected me with something that I heard from the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. When Chosroes died, he said: 'Whom have they appointed as his successor?' They said: 'His daughter.' He said: 'No people will ever prosper who entrust their leadership to a woman.'"
Hadith 5408
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَتَبَ أَبِي , وَكَتَبْتُ لَهُ : إِلَى عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ وَهُوَ قَاضِي سِجِسْتَانَ : أَنْ لَا تَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَنْتَ غَضْبَانُ ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يَحْكُمْ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakrah said:` "My father wrote to 'Ubaidullah bin Abi Bakrah - who was the judge of Sijistan - saying: 'Do not pass judgment between two people when you are angry, for I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: No one should pass judgment between two people when he is angry.'"
Hadith 5423
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، وَكَانَ عَامِلًا عَلَى سِجِسْتَانَ ، قَالَ : كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ , يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يَقْضِيَنَّ أَحَدٌ فِي قَضَاءٍ بِقَضَاءَيْنِ ، وَلَا يَقْضِي أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ خَصْمَيْنِ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Abi Bakrah, who was a governor in Sijistan, said:` "Abu Bakrah wrote to me, saying: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: No one should pass two judgments on one issue, and no one should pass judgment between two disputing parties while he is angry.'"
Hadith 5467
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ يَعْنِي الشَّحَّامَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ سَمِعَ وَالِدَهُ يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " , فَجَعَلْتُ أَدْعُو بِهِنَّ ، فَقَالَ : يَا بُنَيَّ , أَنَّى عُلِّمْتَ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ ، قُلْتُ : يَا أَبَتِ , سَمِعْتُكَ تَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ فَأَخَذْتُهُنَّ عَنْكَ ، قَالَ : فَالْزَمْهُنَّ يَا بُنَيَّ ، فَإِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ .
´Muslim - meaning bin Abi Bakrah - narrated that:` He heard his father say following the prayer: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kufri wal-faqri, wa 'adhabil-qabri (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from Kufr, poverty and the torment of the grave.)" I started to recite them and he said: "O my son, where did you learn these words?" I said: "O my father, I heard you saying this supplication at the end of the prayer, and I learned them from you." He said: "Continue to recite them, O my son, for the Prophet of Allah [SAW] used to say this supplication at the end of the prayer."
