Hadith 314
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ بْنِ خُفَافٍ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، قال : أَجْنَبْتُ وَأَنَا فِي الْإِبِلِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَاءً ، فَتَمَعَّكْتُ فِي التُّرَابِ تَمَعُّكَ الدَّابَّةِ ، فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَجْزِيكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ التَّيَمُّمُ " .
´It was narrated that 'Ammar bin Yasir said:` "I became Junub while I was on a camel and I could not find any water, so I rolled in the dust like an animal. I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and told him about that, and he said: 'Tayammum would have been sufficient for you.'"
