Hadith 1866
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Every intoxicating substance is forbidden. Whatever causes intoxication in a large amount (a faraq, i.e., sixteen ratl), then even a handful of it is forbidden.” In the narration of one of them (i.e., Muhammad ibn Bashar and Abdullah ibn Mu’awiyah Jumahi), it is stated: “Even a single sip of it is forbidden.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan (good).
2- It has also been narrated by Layth ibn Abi Sulaym and Rabi’ ibn Subayh from Abu ‘Uthman al-Ansari, similar to the hadith of Mahdi ibn Maymun.

And I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Indeed Al-Hasan and Al-Husain - they are my two sweet basils in the world.'"
