Hadith 10
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ : قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'"
Hadith 515
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "Whoever catches up with two Rak'ahs of 'Asr prayer before the sun sets, or one Rak'ah of the Subh prayer before the sun rises, has caught it."
Hadith 516
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ أَوْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنَ الْفَجْرِ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "Whoever catches up with one Rak'ah of 'Asr prayer before the sun sets, or catches up with one Rak'ah of Fajr before the sun rises, has caught it."
Hadith 580
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِهَا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً ، وَأَنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " هُمَا رَكْعَتَانِ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّيهِمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَشُغِلْتُ عَنْهُمَا حَتَّى صَلَّيْتُ الْعَصْرَ " .
´It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Prophet (ﷺ) once prayed two Rak'ahs after 'Asr in her house. She asked him about that and he said:` "They are two Rak'ahs that I used to pray after Zuhr, but I got distracted and forgot them until I prayed 'Asr."
Hadith 642
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ لِيُوقِظَ نَائِمَكُمْ وَلِيَرْجِعَ قَائِمَكُمْ ، وَلَيْسَ أَنْ يَقُولَ هَكَذَا يَعْنِي فِي الصُّبْحِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud that the Prophet (S.A.W) said:` "Bilal calls the Adhan during the night to wake those who are sleeping and so that those who are praying Qiyam can return.[1] Not to say it is like this." The break of dawn is not like this. [2] [1] Meaning to finish. Ash-Shawkani said: "To return to sleeping or return to sitting from praying" Nail Al-Awtar. [2] Indicating with an up and down motion. The true dawn is from right to left.
Hadith 967
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : " سَجَدَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا وَمَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, and the one who was better than them prostrated during 'When the heaven is split asunder' and 'Read! In the name of your Lord.'"
Hadith 1108
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قال : " لَوْ كُنْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَأَبْصَرْتُ إِبْطَيْهِ " قَالَ أَبُو مِجْلَزٍ : كَأَنَّهُ قَالَ : ذَلِكَ لِأَنَّهُ فِي صَلَاةٍ .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "If I were in front of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) I would be able to see the whiteness of his armpits." (One of the narrators) Abu Mijlaz said: "It is as if he said that because he was praying."
Hadith 1174
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي غَلَّابٍ وَهُوَ يُونُسُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّهُمْ صَلَّوْا مَعَ أَبِي مُوسَى ، فَقَالَ : إِنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ الْقَعْدَةِ فَلْيَكُنْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ قَوْلِ أَحَدِكُمُ التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ الطَّيِّبَاتُ الصَّلَوَاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ " .
´It was narrated from Hittan bin Abdullah that:` They prayed with Abu Musa and he said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When you are sitting then let the first words that any of you says be: At-tahiyyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibat, as-salamu 'alaika ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa rahmatAllahi wa baraktuhu. As-salamu 'alaina wa 'ala 'ibad illahis-salihin, ashahdu an la illaha ill-Allah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluhu (Allah compliments, prayers and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah (SWT) and his blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah (SWT). I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger)."
Hadith 1176
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ أَيْمَنَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ نَابِلٍ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قال : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا " يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِاللَّهِ التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to teach us the tashahhud just as he would teach us a surah of the Quran: "Bismillah, wa billahi. At-tahiyyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibat, as-salamu 'alaika ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa rahmatAllahi wa baraktuhu. As-salamu 'alaina wa 'ala 'ibad illahis-salihin, ashahdu an la illaha ill-Allah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluhu. A'sal Allahal-jannah wa a'udhu Billahi min an-nar (Allah compliments, prayers and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah (SWT) and his blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah (SWT). I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. I ask Allah for Paradise and I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire).'
Hadith 1183
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ , وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ , وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ , وَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ كَذَلِكَ حَذْوَ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that :` The Prophet (ﷺ) used to raise his hands when he began to pray, when he wanted to bow, when he raised his head from bowing, and when he stood up after the first two rak'ahs, he would raise his hands likewise, level with his shoulders.
Hadith 1395
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ بِلَالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ إِذَا جَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَإِذَا نَزَلَ أَقَامَ ، ثُمَّ كَانَ كَذَلِكَ فِي زَمَنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا " .
´It was narrated that As-Sa'ib bin Yazid said:` "Bilal used to call the Adhan when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat on the Minbar on Friday, and when he came down he would say the Iqamah. It continued like that during the time of Abu Bakr and 'Umar, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with them."
Hadith 1518
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ وَهُوَ الْعُمَرِيُّ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَصَاحُوا ، فَقَالُوا : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، قَحَطَتِ الْمَطَرُ وَهَلَكَتِ الْبَهَائِمُ ، فَادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَسْقِيَنَا ، قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا " , قَالَ : وَايْمُ اللَّهِ مَا نَرَى فِي السَّمَاءِ قَزَعَةً مِنْ سَحَابٍ , قَالَ : فَأَنْشَأَتْ سَحَابَةٌ فَانْتَشَرَتْ ، ثُمَّ إِنَّهَا أُمْطِرَتْ وَنَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى وَانْصَرَفَ النَّاسُ ، فَلَمْ تَزَلْ تَمْطُرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ الْأُخْرَى ، فَلَمَّا قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ صَاحُوا إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالُوا : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، تَهَدَّمَتِ الْبُيُوتُ وَتَقَطَّعَتِ السُّبُلُ ، فَادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَحْبِسَهَا عَنَّا ، فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلَا عَلَيْنَا " ، فَتَقَشَّعَتْ عَنِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَجَعَلَتْ تَمْطُرُ حَوْلَهَا وَمَا تَمْطُرُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ قَطْرَةً ، فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَإِنَّهَا لَفِي مِثْلِ الْإِكْلِيلِ .
´It was narrated from Thabit that Anas said:` "The Prophet (ﷺ) was delivering the Khutbah one Friday when the people stood up and shouted: 'O Prophet of Allah! There has been no rain and the animals have died. Pray to Allah (SWT) to send us rain.' He said: 'O Allah, send us rain; O Allah, send us rain.' By Allah (SWT), we could not see even a wisp of a cloud in the sky, then a cloud appeared and grew, and it rained. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came down and prayed, and the people departed, and it continued to rain until the following Friday. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up to deliver the Khutbah, they called out to him and said: 'O Prophet of Allah, the houses are destroyed and the routes are cut off. Pray to Allah to take it away from us.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) smiled and said: 'O Allah, around us and not on us!' Then is dispersed from Al-Madinah and rain fell around Al-Madinah but not a single drop fell on Al-Madinah. I looked, and it was in something like a ring."
Hadith 1636
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ " مَرَّ عَلَى مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فِي قَبْرِهِ " .
´It was narrated from Anas that:` On the night on which he was taken on the Night Journey, the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by Musa, peace be upon him, and he was praying in his grave.
Hadith 1637
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ , وَإِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، قال : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا , يَقُولُ : أَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ " مَرَّ عَلَى مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فِي قَبْرِهِ " .
´Mu'tamir said:` "I heard my father say: I heard Anas say: 'One of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) told me that on the Night Journey, the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by Musa, peace be upon him, and he was praying in his grave.'"
Hadith 1838
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ , وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ " .
´It was narrated that 'Ubadah bin As-Samit said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah, hates to meet him."'
Hadith 2073
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يُعْرَضُ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا مَاتَ مَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ الْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ، قِيلَ : هَذَا مَقْعَدُكَ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَكَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah said:` "When one of you dies, he is shown his place morning and evening. If he is one of the people of hell it is said: 'This is your place, until Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, raises you up on the Day of Resurrection."'
Hadith 2337
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ : " مَنْ لَمْ يُجْمِعِ الصِّيَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلَا يَصُومُ " .
´It was narrated from Hafsah that she used to say:` "Whoever does not intend to fast from the night before, should not fast." (Daif)
Hadith 2344
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا لَمْ يُجْمِعِ الرَّجُلُ الصَّوْمَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلَا يَصُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said:` "If a man does not intend to fast from the night before, he should not fast."
Hadith 2397
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : ذَكَرْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّوْمَ , فَقَالَ : " صُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ عَشَرَةِ أَيَّامٍ يَوْمًا وَلَكَ أَجْرُ تِلْكَ التِّسْعَةِ " , فَقُلْتُ : إِنِّي أَقْوَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ , قَالَ : " صُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ تِسْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ يَوْمًا وَلَكَ أَجْرُ تِلْكَ الثَّمَانِيَةِ " , قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أَقْوَى مَنْ ذَلِكَ , قَالَ : " فَصُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ ثَمَانِيَةِ أَيَّامٍ يَوْمًا وَلَكَ أَجْرُ تِلْكَ السَّبْعَةِ " , قُلْتُ : إِنِّي أَقْوَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ : فَلَمْ يَزَلْ حَتَّى , قَالَ : " صُمْ يَوْمًا وَأَفْطِرْ يَوْمًا " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said:` 'Amr said: "I spoke to the Prophet and he said: 'Fast one day out of ten and you will have the reward of the other nine.' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' He said: 'Fast one day out of eight and you will have the reward of the other eight.' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' He said: 'Fast one day out of eight and you will have the reward of the other seven.' I said: 'I am able to do more than that.' 'Fast one day and not the next."'
Hadith 2438
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ بَهْزَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ! مَا أَتَيْتُكَ حَتَّى حَلَفْتُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عَدَدِهِنَّ لِأَصَابِعِ يَدَيْهِ أَنْ لَا آتِيَكَ وَلَا آتِيَ دِينَكَ ، وَإِنِّي كُنْتُ امْرَأً لَا أَعْقِلُ شَيْئًا ، إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمَنِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَرَسُولُهُ ، وَإِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَحْيِ اللَّهِ بِمَا بَعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ إِلَيْنَا ؟ قَالَ : " بِالْإِسْلَامِ " ، قُلْتُ : وَمَا آيَاتُ الْإِسْلَامِ ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْ تَقُولَ : أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَى اللَّهِ وَتَخَلَّيْتُ ، وَتُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةَ ، وَتُؤْتِيَ الزَّكَاةَ " .
´Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father, that his grandfather said:` "I said: 'O Prophet of Allah, I did not come to you until I had sworn more than this many times" the number of fingers on his hands "that I would never come to you or follow your religion. I am a man who does not know anything except that which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and His Messenger teach me. I ask you by the Revelation of Allah, with what has your Lord sent your to us? He said: "With Islam.' I said: 'What are the signs of Islam?' He said: 'To say, I submit my face to Allah and give up Shirk, and to establish the Salah and to pay the Zakah."'
Hadith 2451
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ بَهْزَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " فِي كُلِّ إِبِلٍ سَائِمَةٍ مِنْ كُلِّ أَرْبَعِينَ ابْنَةُ لَبُونٍ ، لَا تُفَرَّقُ إِبِلٌ عَنْ حِسَابِهَا مَنْ أَعْطَاهَا مُؤْتَجِرًا لَهُ أَجْرُهَا ، وَمَنْ مَنَعَهَا فَإِنَّا آخِذُوهَا ، وَشَطْرَ إِبِلِهِ عَزْمَةً مِنْ عَزَمَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَا يَحِلُّ لِآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ " .
´Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father that his grandfather said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'With regard to grazing camels, for every forty a Bint Labun. No differentiation is to be made between camels when calculating them. Whoever gives it seeking reward will be rewarded for it. Whoever refuses, we will take it and half of his camels, as one of the rights of our Lord. And it is not permissible for the family of Muhammad to have any of them."'
Hadith 2482
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ حُسَيْنًا ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، قَالَ : جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ وَمَعَهَا بِنْتٌ لَهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَفِي يَدِ ابْنَتِهَا مَسَكَتَانِ , نَحْوَهُ مُرْسَلٌ , قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : خَالِدٌ أَثْبَتُ مِنَ الْمُعْتَمِرِ .
´'Amr bin Shu 'aib said:` "A woman came to the Messenger of Allah with a daughter of hers, and on her daughter's arm were two bangles" - a similar report, in Mursal form.
Hadith 2567
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ بَهْزَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يَأْتِي رَجُلٌ مَوْلَاهُ يَسْأَلُهُ مِنْ فَضْلٍ عِنْدَهُ ، فَيَمْنَعُهُ إِيَّاهُ إِلَّا دُعِيَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعٌ أَقْرَعُ يَتَلَمَّظُ فَضْلَهُ الَّذِي مَنَعَ " .
´Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father that his grandfather said:` "No man comes to his Mawla and asks him for something from the surplus of what he has, and he withholds it from him, but on the Day of Resurrection a bald-headed Shuja'a [1] will be called to him and will be licking the surplus that he withheld."
Hadith 2569
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ بَهْزَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ! مَا أَتَيْتُكَ حَتَّى حَلَفْتُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عَدَدِهِنَّ لِأَصَابِعِ يَدَيْهِ أَلَّا ، آتِيَكَ وَلَا آتِيَ دِينَكَ ، وَإِنِّي كُنْتُ امْرَأً لَا أَعْقِلُ شَيْئًا إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمَنِي اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ، وَإِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِمَا بَعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ إِلَيْنَا ؟ قَالَ : " بِالْإِسْلَامِ " , قَالَ : قُلْتُ : وَمَا آيَاتُ الْإِسْلَامِ ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْ تَقُولَ : أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَتَخَلَّيْتُ ، وَتُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةَ ، وَتُؤْتِيَ الزَّكَاةَ كُلُّ مُسْلِمٍ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ مُحَرَّمٌ أَخَوَانِ نَصِيرَانِ ، لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ مُشْرِكٍ بَعْدَمَا أَسْلَمَ عَمَلًا ، أَوْ يُفَارِقَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ " .
´Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father that his grandfather said:` "I said: 'O Prophet of Allah! I did not come to you until I had sworn more that this many times' - the number of fingers on his hands - 'that I would never come to you or follow your religion. I am a man who does not know anything except that which Allah and His Messenger teach me. I ask you by the face of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, with what has your Lord sent you to us? He said: 'With Islam.' I said: What are the signs of Islam? He said; To say: I submit my face to Allah and give up Shirk, and, to establish the Salah and to pay Zakah. Each Muslim is sacred and inviolable to his fellow Muslim; they support one another. Allah does not accept my deed from an idolater after he becomes a Muslim, until he departs from the idolaters and joins the Muslims."'
Hadith 3089
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ , وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قراءة عليه وأنا أسمع وَاللَّفْظُ لأَحْمَدَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ ، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ ، فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدِي " , قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا ،
´Narrated It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` : “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘I have been sent with concise speech and I have been supported with fear. While I was sleeping, the keys to the treasures of the Earth were brought to me and placed in my hands.’” Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah has gone and you are acquiring them.”
Hadith 3103
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً مَعْنَاهَا قَالَ : " ائْتُونِي بِالْكَتِفِ وَاللَّوْحِ ، فَكَتَبَ لا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سورة النساء آية 95 وَعَمْرُو بْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ ، خَلْفَهُ ، فَقَالَ : هَلْ لِي رُخْصَةٌ فَنَزَلَتْ : غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ سورة النساء آية 95 " .
´It was narrated from Al-Bara' that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "bring me a shoulder blade of a camel, or a tablet, and write: Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home)." [1] 'Amr bin Umm Maktum was behind him and he said: "Is there a concession for me?" Then the following was revealed: "Except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame)." [2] [1] An-Nisa' 4:95. [2] An-Nisa' 4:95.
Hadith 3147
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ خَالِدًا يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الشَّامِيّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ , عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا عَمْرُو بْنَ عَبَسَةَ ، حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، لَيْسَ فِيهِ نِسْيَانٌ وَلَا تَنَقُّصٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، فَبَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ ، أَخْطَأَ أَوْ أَصَابَ ، كَانَ لَهُ كَعِدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ ، وَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً ، كَانَ فِدَاءُ كُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ ، عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ، وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
´It was narrated that Shurahbil bin As-Simt said:` "I said: 'O 'Amr bin 'Abasah! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) without forgetting or omitting anything.' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, and it reaches the enemy, whether it misses or hits, it will be as if he freed slave. Whoever frees a believing slave, that will be a ransom for him, limb by limb, from the Fire of Hell. Whoever develops a gray hair in the cause of Allah, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection."
Hadith 3298
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُنْكَحَ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا ، وَالْعَمَّةُ عَلَى بِنْتِ أَخِيهَا " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah forbade taking a woman as a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt."
Hadith 3425
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ تَطْلِيقَةً ، فَانْطَلَقَ عُمَرُ ، فَأَخْبَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مُرْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ فَلْيُرَاجِعْهَا ، فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلَتْ فَلْيَتْرُكْهَا حَتَّى تَحِيضَ ، فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلَتْ مِنْ حَيْضَتِهَا الْأُخْرَى فَلَا يَمَسَّهَا حَتَّى يُطَلِّقَهَا ، فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُمْسِكَهَا فَلْيُمْسِكْهَا ، فَإِنَّهَا الْعِدَّةُ الَّتِي أَمَرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ تُطَلَّقَ لَهَا النِّسَاءُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah that he issued a divorce to his wife when she was menstruating. So 'Umar went to inform the Prophet about that. The Prophet said to him:` "Tell 'Abdullah to take her back, then, when she has performed Ghusl, let him leave her alone, until she menstruates (again). Then, when she performs Ghusl following that second period, he should not touch her until he divorces her. And if he wants to keep her, then let him keep her. That is the time when Allah has stated that women may be divorced."
Hadith 3489
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ . ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْحَكَمَ بْنَ أَبَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ : أَتَى رَجُلٌ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّهُ ظَاهَرَ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ ، ثُمَّ غَشِيَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْعَلَ مَا عَلَيْهِ ، قَالَ : " مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ؟ " قَالَ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ، رَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ سَاقَيْهَا فِي الْقَمَرِ ، قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَاعْتَزِلْ حَتَّى تَقْضِيَ مَا عَلَيْكَ " ، وَقَالَ إِسْحَاق فِي حَدِيثِهِ : فَاعْتَزِلْهَا حَتَّى تَقْضِيَ مَا عَلَيْكَ ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : الْمُرْسَلُ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ مِنَ الْمُسْنَدِ ، وَاللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ .
´'Ikrimah said:` "A man came to the Prophet of Allah and said: 'O Prophet of Allah,' and that he had declared Zihar to his wife, then he had intercourse with her before he did what he had to do. He said: 'What made you do that?' He said: 'O Prophet of Allah! I saw the whiteness of her calves in the moonlight.' The Prophet said: 'Keep away until you have done what you have to do.' (One of the narrators) Ishaq said in his Hadith: "Keep away from her until you have done what you have to do." The wording is that of Muhammad.
Hadith 3636
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ جَاوَانَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ ، وَذَاكَ أَنِّي قُلْتُ لَهُ : أَرَأَيْتَ اعْتِزَالَ الْأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ مَا كَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْأَحْنَفَ ، يَقُولُ : وَأَنَا حَاجٌّ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي مَنَازِلِنَا نَضَعُ رِحَالَنَا إِذْ أَتَى آتٍ ، فَقَالَ : قَدِ اجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَاطَّلَعْتُ ، فَإِذَا يَعْنِي النَّاسَ مُجْتَمِعُونَ ، وَإِذَا بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِهِمْ نَفَرٌ قُعُودٌ ، فَإِذَا هُوَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ ، وَطَلْحَةُ ، وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَلَمَّا قُمْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ قِيلَ : هَذَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ قَدْ أَتَيْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ : فَجَاءَ وَعَلَيْهِ مُلَيَّةٌ صَفْرَاءُ ، فَقُلْتُ لِصَاحِبِي : كَمَا أَنْتَ حَتَّى أَنْظُرَ مَا جَاءَ بِهِ ، فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ : أَهَهُنَا عَلِيٌّ ، أَهَهُنَا الزُّبَيْرُ ، أَهَهُنَا طَلْحَةُ ، أَهَهُنَا سَعْدٌ , قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَأَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ : أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ يَبْتَاعُ مِرْبَدَ بَنِي فُلَانٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ " ؟ فَابْتَعْتُهُ ، فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنِّي ابْتَعْتُ مِرْبَدَ بَنِي فُلَانٍ ، قَالَ : " فَاجْعَلْهُ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا وَأَجْرُهُ لَكَ " ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَأَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ : هَلْ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ يَبْتَاعُ بِئْرَ رُومَةَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ " ؟ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : قَدِ ابْتَعْتُ بِئْرَ رُومَةَ ، قَالَ : " فَاجْعَلْهَا سِقَايَةً لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَجْرُهَا لَكَ " ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : فَأَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ : هَلْ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ يُجَهِّزُ جَيْشَ الْعُسْرَةِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ " ؟ فَجَهَّزْتُهُمْ حَتَّى مَا يَفْقِدُونَ عِقَالًا ، وَلَا خِطَامًا ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ " .
´Al-Ahnaf said:` "I came to Al-Madinah, and I was performing Hajj, and while we were in our camping place unloading our mounts, someone came to us and said: 'The people have gathered in the Masjid.' I looked and found the people gathered, and in the midst of them was a group; there I saw 'Ali bin Abi Talib, Az-Zubair, Talhah and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas, may Allah have mercy on them. When I got there, it was said that 'Uthman bin 'Affan had come. He came, wearing a yellowish cloak. I said to my companion: Stay where you are until I find out what is happening. 'Uthman said: Is 'Ali here? Is Az-Zubair here? Is Talhah here? Is Sa'd here? They said: Yes. He said: I adjure you by Allah, beside Whom there is none worthy of worship, are you aware that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever buys the Mirbad of Banu so and so, Allah will forgive him, and I bought it, then I came to the Messenger of Allah and told him, and he said: Add it to our Masjid and the reward for it will be yours? They said: Yes. He said: I adjure you by Allah, beside Whom there is none worthy of worship, are you aware that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever buys the well of Rumah, Allah will forgive him, so I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: I have bought the well of Rumah. He said: Give it to provide water for the Muslims, and the reward for it will be yours? They said: Yes. He said: 'I adjure you by Allah, beside Whom there is none worthy of worship, are you aware that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever equips the army of Al-'Usrah (i.e. Tabuk), Allah will forgive him, so I equipped them until they were not lacking even a rope or a bridle?' They said: Yes. He said: O Allah, bear witness, O Allah, bear witness, O Allah, bear witness."
Hadith 3813
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ الْحَسَنِ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ , عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا حَلَفَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا , فَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَلْيَنْظُرِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ فَلْيَأْتِهِ ".
´It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah that the Messenger of Allah said:` "If any one of you swears an oath, then he sees something better than it, let him offer expiation for his oath, and look at what is better and do it."
Hadith 3965
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : " إِنَّ خَيْرَ مَا أَنْتُمْ صَانِعُونَ أَنْ يُؤَاجِرَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَرْضَهُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ " .
´Sa'eed bin Jubair said:` "Ibn 'Abbas said: 'The best thing you can do is for one of you to rent his land out in return for gold and silver.'"
Hadith 4002
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُسْتَمِرِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَجِيءُ الرَّجُلُ آخِذًا بِيَدِ الرَّجُلِ , فَيَقُولُ : يَا رَبِّ , هَذَا قَتَلَنِي . فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ لَهُ : لِمَ قَتَلْتَهُ ؟ فَيَقُولُ : قَتَلْتُهُ لِتَكُونَ الْعِزَّةُ لَكَ . فَيَقُولُ : فَإِنَّهَا لِي ، وَيَجِيءُ الرَّجُلُ آخِذًا بِيَدِ الرَّجُلِ , فَيَقُولُ : إِنَّ هَذَا قَتَلَنِي . فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ لَهُ : لِمَ قَتَلْتَهُ ؟ فَيَقُولُ : لِتَكُونَ الْعِزَّةُ لِفُلَانٍ . فَيَقُولُ : إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ لِفُلَانٍ . فَيَبُوءُ بِإِثْمِهِ ".
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud that:` The Prophet [SAW] said: "A man will come, holding another man's hand, and will say: 'O Lord, this man killed me.' Allah will say to him: 'Why did you kill him?' He will say: 'I killed him so that the glory would be to you.' He will say: 'It is to Me.' Then (another) man will come holding another man's hand, and will say: 'This man killed me.' Allah will say to him: 'Why did you kill him?' He will say: 'So that the glory would be to so and so.' He will say: 'It is not to so and so,' and the burden of sin will be upon him."
Hadith 4512
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ , وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَخْضَرُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ , عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ , عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بَاعَ قَدَحًا وَحِلْسًا فِيمَنْ يَزِيدُ " .
´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that:` the Messenger of Allah sold a drinking bowl and a blanket (for a horse of camel) to the highest bidder '
Hadith 4521
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى , قَالَ , حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ , عَنْ خُبَيْبٍ , عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ , أَمَّا الْبَيْعَتَانِ فَالْمُنَابَذَةُ وَالْمُلَامَسَةُ , وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ الْمُلَامَسَةَ : أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّجُلُ لِلرَّجُلِ أَبِيعُكَ ثَوْبِي بِثَوْبِكَ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ وَاحِدٌ مِنْهُمَا إِلَى ثَوْبِ الْآخَرِ وَلَكِنْ يَلْمِسُهُ لَمْسًا , وَأَمَّا الْمُنَابَذَةُ : أَنْ يَقُولُ : أَنْبِذُ مَا مَعِي وَتَنْبِذُ مَا مَعَكَ لِيَشْتَرِيَ أَحَدُهُمَا مِنِ الْآخَرِ , وَلَا يَدْرِي كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا كَمْ مَعَ الْآخَرِ وَنَحْوًا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَصْفِ " .
´It was narrated from Hafs bin 'Asim, from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet forbade two kids of transactions:` Munabadhah and Mulamasha. And he said that Mulamasah means when one man says to another: "I will sell you my garment for your garment," and neither of them looks at the garment of the others, rather he just touches it. And Munabadhah is when he says: "I will throw what I have and you throw what you have," so that they buy from one another, and neither of them knows how much the other has, and so on.
Hadith 4645
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : كُنَّا نَسِيرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا عَلَى نَاضِحٍ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَتَبِيعُنِيهِ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا , وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَكَ ؟ " , قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ , هُوَ لَكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : " أَتَبِيعُنِيهِ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا , وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَكَ ؟ " , قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ , هُوَ لَكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : " أَتَبِيعُنِيهِ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا , وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَكَ ؟ " , قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ , هُوَ لَكَ , قَالَ أَبُو نَضْرَةَ : وَكَانَتْ كَلِمَةً يَقُولُهَا الْمُسْلِمُونَ : افْعَلْ كَذَا وَكَذَا , وَاللَّهُ يَغْفِرُ لَكَ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:` "We were traveling with the Messenger of Allah and I was riding a camel. The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'Will you sell it to me for such and such, may Allah forgive you?', I said, I said, 'Yes, it is yours, O Prophet of Allah.' He said: 'Will you sell it to me for such and such, may Allah forgive your?' I said: 'Yes, it is yours, O Prophet of "Allah.' He said: 'Will you sell it to me for such and such, may Allah forgives you?' I said: 'Yes, it is yours. '''(One of the narrators) Abu Nadrah said: "This became a phrase that was used by the Muslims: 'Do such and such, may Allah forgive you.
Hadith 5044
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ طَلْقًا يَذْكُرُ : " عَشْرَةً مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ : السِّوَاكَ ، وَقَصَّ الشَّارِبِ ، وَتَقْلِيمَ الْأَظْفَارِ , وَغَسْلَ الْبَرَاجِمِ ، وَحَلْقَ الْعَانَةِ ، وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقَ ، وَأَنَا شَكَكْتُ فِي الْمَضْمَضَةِ " .
´Al-Mu'tamir narrated that his father said:` "I heard Talq mentioning ten things that have to do with the Fitrah: Using the Siwak, trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, washing the joints, shaving the pubes, rinsing the nose, and I am not sure about rinsing the mouth."
Hadith 5050
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ صُهَيْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ لَمْ يَأْخُذْ شَارِبَهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
´It was narrated that Zaid bin Al-Arqam said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'Whoever does not take from his mustache, he is not one of us.'"
Hadith 5085
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ كَهْمَسًا يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ مَا غَيَّرْتُمْ بِهِ الشَّيْبَ الْحِنَّاءُ وَالْكَتَمُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Buraidah that:` He heard that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "The best things with which you can change gray hair are Henna and Katam."
