Hadith 232
وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، قَالَا : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ الْحُكَيْمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقُرَشِيّ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ نَافِعَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ ، وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَاهُ ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَهُمَا ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ لِلصَّلَاةِ ، فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ ، ثُمَّ مَشَى إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ ، فَصَلَّاهَا مَعَ النَّاسِ ، أَوْ مَعَ الْجَمَاعَةِ ، أَوْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ذُنُوبَهُ " .
Humran, the freed slave of 'Uthman bin 'Affan, reported on the authority of 'Uthman bin 'Affan that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say: He who performed ablution for prayer and performed it properly and then went (to observe) obligatory prayer and offered it along with people or with the congregation or in the mosque, Allah would pardon his sins.
Hadith 1197
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَنَحْنُ حُرُمٌ ، فَأُهْدِيَ لَهُ طَيْرٌ وَطَلْحَةُ رَاقِدٌ ، فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَكَلَ وَمِنَّا مَنْ تَوَرَّعَ ، فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ طَلْحَةُ وَفَّقَ مَنْ أَكَلَهُ ، وَقَالَ : " أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Abdul Rahman bin 'Uthman Taimi reported on the authority of his father; While we were with Talha bin 'Ubaidullah (RA) and were in the state of Ihram we were presented a (cooked) bird. Talha was sleeping. Some of us ate it and some of us refrained from (eating) it. When Talha awoke he agreed with him who ate it, and said: We ate it along with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) .
