Hadith 812
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَفْتَتِحُ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman used to start their recitation with “All praises and thanks are to Allah, the Lord of all that exists. (Al- hamdu Lillahi Rabbil-‘Alamin).’” [1:2]
Hadith 869
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَكَعَ لَمْ يَشْخَصْ رَأْسَهُ ، وَلَمْ يُصَوِّبْهُ ، وَلَكِنْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) bowed, he neither raised his head nor lowered it, rather (he did something) between that.”
Hadith 893
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَة ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ لَمْ يَسْجُدْ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ قَائِمًا ، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ لَمْ يَسْجُدْ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ جَالِسًا ، وَكَانَ يَفْتَرِشُ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى " .
´It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:` “When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his head from bowing, he would not prostrate until he had stood up straight. When he prostrated, he would raise his head and not prostrate again until he had sat up straight. And he used to spread out his left leg.”
Hadith 1046
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَتِ امْرَأَةٌ تُصَلِّي خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَسْنَاءُ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ النَّاسِ ، فَكَانَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ يَسْتَقْدِمُ فِي الصَّفِّ الْأَوَّلِ لِئَلَّا يَرَاهَا ، وَيَسْتَأْخِرُ بَعْضُهُمْ حَتَّى يَكُونَ فِي الصَّفِّ الْمُؤَخَّرِ ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ قَالَ : هَكَذَا يَنْظُرُ مِنْ تَحْتِ إِبْطِهِ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ سورة الحجر آية 24 فِي شَأْنِهَا " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “A woman used to perform prayer behind the Prophet (ﷺ), and she was one of the most beautiful of people. Some of the people used to go into the first row so that they would not see her, and some of them used to lag behind so that they would be in the last row, and when they bowed, they would do like this so that they could see her from beneath their armpits. Then Allah revealed: “And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will some afterwards.” [15:24] concerning her matter.
Hadith 2258
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الرِّبْعِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُهُ يَأْمُرُ بِالصَّرْفِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَيُحَدَّثُ ذَلِكَ عَنْهُ ، ثُمَّ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ رَجَعَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَلَقِيتُهُ بِمَكَّةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ رَجَعْتَ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، إِنَّمَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ رَأْيًا مِنِّي ، وَهَذَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّرْفِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Jawza' said:` "I heard him meaning Ibn 'Abbas allowing exchange (of Dirhams for Dirham etc., if extra was given) and that was narrated from him. Then I heard that he has taken back this opinion. I met him in Makkah and said: 'I heard that you had taken back (your opinion).' He said: 'Yes. That was just my own opinion, but Abu Sa'eed narrated from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he forbade exchange (of like items if extra is given)."'
Hadith 4224
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى , وَزَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي ثُبَيْتٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْ مَلَأَ اللَّهَ أُذُنَيْهِ مِنْ ثَنَاءِ النَّاسِ خَيْرًا , وَهُوَ يَسْمَعُ , وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ مَنْ مَلَأَ أُذُنَيْهِ مِنْ ثَنَاءِ النَّاسِ شَرًّا , وَهُوَ يَسْمَعُ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The people of Paradise are those whose ears Allah fills with the praise of people when they are listening, and the people of Hell- fire are those whom He fills their ears with condemnation when they are listening.”
