Hadith 1436
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : " عَادَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاشِيًا ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَأَنَا فِي بَنِي سَلَمَةَ " .
´Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came walking to visit me (when I was sick), as did Abu Bakr, when I was with Banu Salimah.
Hadith 1487
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، أَنْبَأَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : قَرَأْتُ عَلَى الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرِيزٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : أَوْصَى أَبُو مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيُّ حِينَ حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ ، فَقَالَ " لَا تُتْبِعُونِي بِمِجْمَرٍ ، قَالُوا لَهُ : أَوَ سَمِعْتَ فِيهِ شَيْئًا ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hariz that Abu Burdah said:` “Abu Musa Ash’ari left instructions, when he was dying, saying: ‘Do not follow me with a censer.’* They said to him: ‘Did you hear something concerning that?’ He said: ‘Yes, from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’”
Hadith 1775
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ بْنُ غَزِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اعْتَكَفَ فِي قُبَّةٍ تُرْكِيَّةٍ عَلَى سُدَّتِهَا قِطْعَةُ حَصِيرٍ ، قَالَ : فَأَخَذَ الْحَصِيرَ بِيَدِهِ فَنَحَّاهَا فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْقُبَّةِ ، ثُمَّ أَطْلَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَكَلَّمَ النَّاسَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed I’tifak in a Turkish tent, over the door of which was a piece of reed matting. He pushed the mat aside, then he put his head out and spoke to the people.
Hadith 2425
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ يَطْلُبُ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِدَيْنٍ أَوْ بِحَقٍّ ، فَتَكَلَّمَ بِبَعْضِ الْكَلَامِ فَهَمَّ صَحَابَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَهْ ، إِنَّ صَاحِبَ الدَّيْنِ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَهُ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` “A man came to ask the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) for some debt or some right, and he spoke harshly to him, and the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wanted to rebuke him. But the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Let him be, for the one who is owed something has authority over the debtor, until it is paid off.' ”
Hadith 2446
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " أَصَابَ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَصَاصَةٌ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَلِيًّا فَخَرَجَ يَلْتَمِسُ عَمَلًا يُصِيبُ فِيهِ شَيْئًا لِيُغِيثَ بِهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَتَى بُسْتَانًا لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ ، فَاسْتَقَى لَهُ سَبْعَةَ عَشَرَ دَلْوًا كُلُّ دَلْوٍ بِتَمْرَةٍ فَخَيَّرَهُ الْيَهُودِيُّ مِنْ تَمْرِهِ سَبْعَ عَشَرَةَ عَجْوَةً فَجَاءَ بِهَا إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) was in need of food, and news of that reached 'Ali. He went out seeking work so that he could earn something to give to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He came to a garden belonging to a Jewish man, and he drew seventeen buckets of water for him, each bucket for a date. The Jew gave him the option to take seventeen of his 'Ajwah dates (a high quality of dates) and he brought them to the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ).”
Hadith 2660
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يُقْتَلُ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكَافِرٍ وَلَا ذُو عَهْدٍ فِي عَهْدِهِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` ”A believer should not be killed in retaliation for the murder of a disbeliever, and a person who has a treaty should not be killed during the time of the treaty.”
Hadith 2683
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْمُسْلِمُونَ تَتَكَافَأُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَدٌ عَلَى مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ يَسْعَى بِذِمَّتِهِمْ أَدْنَاهُمْ وَيُرَدُّ عَلَى أَقْصَاهُمْ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “The blood of every Muslims is equal, they are one hand against others. The asylum offered by the lowest of them in status applies to them (all), and the return is granted to the farthest of them.”
Hadith 2904
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : أَحُجُّ عَنْ أَبِي ؟ ، قَالَ : " نَعَمْ حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَزِدْهُ خَيْرًا لَمْ تَزِدْهُ شَرًّا " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: ‘Shall I perform Hajj on behalf of my father?’ He said: ‘Yes, perform Hajj on behalf of your father, for if you cannot add any good to his record (at least) you will not add anything bad.’”
