Hadith 140
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ النَّخَعِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نَلْقَى النَّفَرَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ وَهُمْ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ فَيَقْطَعُونَ حَدِيثَهُمْ ، فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : " مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ ، فَإِذَا رَأَوْا الرَّجُلَ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِي قَطَعُوا حَدِيثَهُمْ ، وَاللَّهِ لَا يَدْخُلُ قَلْبَ رَجُلٍ الْإِيمَانُ حَتَّى يُحِبَّهُمْ لِلَّهِ ، وَلِقَرَابَتِهِمْ مِنِّي " .
´It was narrated that 'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib said:` "We used to come across groups of Quraish who would be talking, but they would stop talking (when we approached). We mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'What is the matter with people who talk, then when they see a man from my family they stop talking? By Allah, faith will not enter a person's heart until he loves them for the sake of Allah and because of their closeness to me.'"
Hadith 537
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " رُبَّمَا فَرَكْتُهُ مِنْ ثَوْبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِي " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "I often scraped it (semen) from the garment of the Messenger of Allah with my hand."
Hadith 762
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَائِذُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَغَضِبَ حَتَّى احْمَرَّ وَجْهُهُ ، فَجَاءَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَحَكَّتْهَا ، وَجَعَلَتْ مَكَانَهَا خَلُوقًا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا أَحْسَنَ هَذَا " .
´It was narrated from Anas that:` The Prophet saw some sputum in the prayer direction of the mosque and he became so angry that his face turned red. Then a woman from among the Ansar came and scraped it off, and put some Khaluq on that spot. The Messenger of Allah said: "How good this is."
Hadith 2079
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ الْمُسْلِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " طَلَاقُ الْأَمَةِ اثْنَتَانِ وَعِدَّتُهَا حَيْضَتَانِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Urnar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said:` "The divorce of a slave woman is twice, and her waiting period is two menstrual cycles. "
Hadith 2160
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ وَعَسْبِ الْفَحْلِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade the price of a dog and studding a stallion."
Hadith 2374
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَجَازَ شَهَادَةَ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ بَعْضِهِمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ " .
´It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that :` the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) allowed the People of the Book to testify against one another.
Hadith 2893
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، وَالْحَاجُّ وَالْمُعْتَمِرُ وَفْدُ اللَّهِ ، دَعَاهُمْ فَأَجَابُوهُ ، وَسَأَلُوهُ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “The one who fights in the cause of Allah, and the pilgrim performing Hajj and ‘Umrah are a delegation to Allah. He invited them, so they responded to Him, and they ask Him and He gives to them.”
Hadith 2910
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُوقَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا لَهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ ؟ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said:` “A woman held up a child of hers to the Prophet (ﷺ) during Hajj and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, is there Hajj for this one?’ He said: ‘Yes, and you will be rewarded.’”
Hadith 3485
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ , حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ , عَنْ جَابِرٍ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , " سَقَطَ عَنْ فَرَسِهِ عَلَى جِذْعٍ , فَانْفَكَّتْ قَدَمُهُ " , قَالَ وَكِيعٌ يَعْنِي : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ وَثْءٍ .
´It was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet (ﷺ) fell from his horse onto the truck of a palm tree and dislocated his foot. (One of the narrators) Waki’ said:` “Meaning that the Prophet (ﷺ) was cupped because of that for bruising.”
Hadith 4028
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ , عَنْ أَنَسٍ , قَالَ : جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام , ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ حَزِينٌ ؟ قَدْ خُضِّبَ بِالدِّمَاءِ قَدْ ضَرَبَهُ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ , فَقَالَ : مَا لَكَ ؟ قَالَ : " فَعَلَ بِي هَؤُلَاءِ وَفَعَلُوا " , قَالَ : أَتُحِبُّ أَنْ أُرِيَكَ آيَةً ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ أَرِنِي " , فَنَظَرَ إِلَى شَجَرَةٍ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْوَادِي , قَالَ : ادْعُ تِلْكَ الشَّجَرَةَ فَدَعَاهَا , فَجَاءَتْ تَمْشِي حَتَّى قَامَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ , قَالَ : قُلْ لَهَا فَلْتَرْجِعْ , فَقَالَ لَهَا : فَرَجَعَتْ حَتَّى عَادَتْ إِلَى مَكَانِهَا , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حَسْبِي " .
´It was narrated that Anas said:` “One day, Jibril (as) came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was sitting in a sorrowful state with his face soaked with blood, because some of the people of Makkah had struck him. He said: ‘What is the matter with you?’ He said: ‘These people did such and such to me.’ He said: ‘Would you like me to show you a sign?’ He said: ‘Yes, show me.’ He looked at a tree on the far side of the valley and said: ‘Call that tree.’ So he called it, and it came walking until it stood before him. He said: ‘Tell it to go back.’ So he told it, and it went back to its place. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘That is sufficient for me.’”
Hadith 4154
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ , وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ , عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ , عَنْ عَامِرٍ , عَنْ الْحَارِثِ , عَنْ عَلِيٍّ , قَالَ : " أُهْدِيَتِ ابْنَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيَّ , فَمَا كَانَ فِرَاشُنَا , لَيْلَةَ أُهْدِيَتْ , إِلَّا مَسْكَ كَبْشٍ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Ali said:` “The daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was permitted to me as a bride, and our bed on the night when she was presented to me, was no more than the hide of a ram.”
Hadith 4167
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ , عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " لَا يَمُوتَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُحْسِنُ الظَّنَّ بِاللَّهِ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘No one of you should die except thinking positively of Allah.’”
