Hadith 1109
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ : " إِذَا صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ سَلَّمَ " .
It was narrated from Jabir that whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) ascended the pulpit he would greet (the people with Salam).
Hadith 1529
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَوْدَاءَ مَاتَتْ ، وَلَمْ يُؤْذَنْ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأُخْبِرَ بِذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلَّا آذَنْتُمُونِي بِهَا ؟ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ : " صُفُّوا عَلَيْهَا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا " .
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amir bin Rabi’ah, from his father, that a black woman died and the Prophet (ﷺ) was not told about that. Then he was informed of it, and he said:` “Why did you not tell me?” Then he said to his Companions: “Line up in rows to pray for her,” and he offered the funeral prayer for her.
Hadith 2297
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ مَوْلَايَ يُعْطِينِي الشَّيْءَ ، فَأُطْعِمُ مِنْهُ ، فَمَنَعَنِي ، أَوْ قَالَ : فَضَرَبَنِي ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ سَأَلَهُ ، فَقُلْتُ : لَا أَنْتَهِي أَوْ لَا أَدَعُهُ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : " الْأَجْرُ بَيْنَكُمَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Umair, the freed slave of Aabi Lahm, said:` "My master used to give me food and I would feed others from it, then he stopped me," or he said: "He beat me. So I asked the Prophet,” -or- "he asked him and I said: 'I will not stop.' He said: 'Both of you will be rewarded."'
Hadith 2855
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَيْرًا مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ ، قَالَ وَكِيعٌ : كَانَ لَا يَأْكُلُ اللَّحْمَ ، قَالَ : " غَزَوْتُ مَعَ مَوْلَايَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ ، وَأَنَا مَمْلُوكٌ فَلَمْ يَقْسِمْ لِي مِنَ الْغَنِيمَةِ ، وَأُعْطِيتُ مِنْ خُرْثِيِّ الْمَتَاعِ سَيْفًا ، فَكُنْتُ أَجُرُّهُ إِذَا تَقَلَّدْتُهُ " .
´‘Umair, the freed slave of Aabi Lahm – Waki’ said; - “He used to not eat meat” – said:` “I fought alongside my master on the Day of Khaibar, and I was a slave. I was not given anything from the spoils of war but I was given from the least of the utensils (goods) a sword, which I dragged when I put it around my waist.”
