Narrated Qais: When Abu Huraira accompanied by his slave set out intending to embrace Islam they lost each other on the way. The slave then came while Abu Huraira was sitting with the Prophet. The Prophet said, "O Abu Huraira! Your slave has come back." Abu Huraira said, "Indeed, I would like you to witness that I have manumitted him." That happened at the time when Abu Huraira recited (the following poetic verse):-- 'What a long tedious tiresome night! Nevertheless, it has delivered us From the land of Kufr (disbelief).

And it is narrated in the same way from Muhammad bin Bishr. He narrates from Ubaidullah, who narrates from Nafi', who narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and he from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Along with Ubaidullah, this hadith is also narrated by Muhammad bin Ishaq from Nafi', who narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) himself traveled with his companions into the territory of the enemies, even though all those persons were scholars of the Noble Qur'an.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: The Prophet said, "In a dream I saw myself drawing water from a well with a bucket. Abu Bakr came and drew a bucket or two weakly. May Allah forgive him. I had never seen such a mighty person as he in doing such hard work till all the people drank to their satisfaction and watered their camels that knelt down there.

Narrated Hisham's father: Khaula bint Hakim was one of those ladies who presented themselves to the Prophet for marriage. `Aisha said, "Doesn't a lady feel ashamed for presenting herself to a man?" But when the Verse: "(O Muhammad) You may postpone (the turn of) any of them (your wives) that you please,' (33.51) was revealed, " `Aisha said, 'O Allah's Apostle! I do not see, but, that your Lord hurries in pleasing you.' "
