Hadith 180
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَكُلُّنَا يَرَى للَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ وَمَا آيَةُ ذَلِكَ فِي خَلْقِهِ ؟ قَالَ : " يَا أَبَا رَزِينٍ أَلَيْسَ كُلُّكُمْ يَرَى الْقَمَرَ مُخْلِيًا بِهِ " ؟ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : " فَاللَّهُ أَعْظَمُ وَذَلِكَ آيَتُهُ فِي خَلْقِهِ " .
´Waki' bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said:` "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will we see Allah on the Day of Resurrection? And what is the sign of that in His creation?' He said: 'O Abu Razin, do each of you not see the moon individually?' I said: 'Of course.' He said: 'Allah is Greater, and that is His sign in His creation.'"
Hadith 181
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ضَحِكَ رَبُّنَا مِنْ قُنُوطِ عِبَادِهِ وَقُرْبِ غِيَرِهِ " ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوَ يَضْحَكُ الرَّبُّ ؟ ، قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " قُلْتُ : لَنْ نَعْدِمَ مِنْ رَبٍّ يَضْحَكُ خَيْرًا .
´Waki' bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah laughs at the despair of His slaves although He soon changes it.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, does the Lord laugh?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'We shall never be deprived of good by a Lord Who laughs.'"
Hadith 182
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ كَانَ رَبُّنَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ خَلْقَهُ ؟ قَالَ : " كَانَ فِي عَمَاءٍ مَا تَحْتَهُ هَوَاءٌ ، وَمَا فَوْقَهُ هَوَاءٌ ، ثَمَّ خَلْقٌ الْعَرْشَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ " .
´Waki' bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said:` "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, where was our Lord before He created His creation?' He said: He was above the clouds, below which was air, and above which was air and water. Then He created His Throne above the water.'"
Hadith 407
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ ؟ قَالَ : " أَسْبِغْ الْوُضُوءَ ، وَبَالِغْ فِي الِاسْتِنْشَاقِ ، إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ صَائِمًا " .
´It was narrated from 'Asim bin Laqit bin Sabrah that his father said:` "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Tell me about ablution.' He said: 'Perform ablution properly and sniff water up into your nostrils, thoroughly, unless you are fasting.'"
Hadith 448
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ الطَّائِفِيُّ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَسْبِغْ الْوُضُوءَ ، وَخَلِّلْ بَيْنَ الْأَصَابِعِ " .
´'Asim bin Laqit bin Saabirah narrated that his father said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: perform ablution properly and let the water run between your fingers."
Hadith 2906
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ ، قَالَ : " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Razin Al-‘Uqaili that he came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:` “O Messenger of Allah, my father is an old man and he cannot perform Hajj or ‘Umrah, and he is not able to ride the mount (due to old age).” He said: “Perform Hajj and ‘Umrah on behalf of your father.”
Hadith 3914
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ , عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عُدُسٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ , عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " الرُّؤْيَا عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ تُعْبَرْ , فَإِذَا عُبِرَتْ وَقَعَتْ " , قَالَ : " وَالرُّؤْيَا جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ " , قَالَ : وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ : " لَا يَقُصُّهَا إِلَّا عَلَى وَادٍّ أَوْ ذِي رَأْيٍ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Razin that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say:` “Dreams are attached to the foot of a bird* until they are interpreted, then when they are interpreted they come to pass.” He said: “And dreams are one of the forty-six parts of prophecy.” He (the narrator) said: “And I think he said: ‘(A person) should not tell them except to one whom he loves or one who is wise.’”
