Hadith 152
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ ّرَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ ، إِلَّا قَدْ أُعْطِيَ مِنَ الآيَاتِ مَا مِثْلُهُ ، آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ ، وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيَّ ، فَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَابِعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed: There has never been a Prophet (ﷺ) amongst the prophets who was not bestowed with a sign amongst the signs which were bestowed (on the earlier prophets). Human beings believed in it and verily I have been conferred upon revelation (the Holy Qur'an) which Allah revealed to me. I hope that I will have the greatest following on the Day of Resurrection.
Hadith 397
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ ، فَدَخَلَ رَجُلٌ فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَرَدَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السَّلَامَ ، قَالَ : ارْجِعْ فَصَلِّ ، فَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ ، فَرَجَعَ الرَّجُلُ فَصَلَّى كَمَا كَانَ ، صَلَّى ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : ارْجِعْ فَصَلِّ ، فَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ ، حَتَّى فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ : وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ ، مَا أُحْسِنُ غَيْرَ هَذَا عَلِّمْنِي ، قَالَ : إِذَ قُمْتَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَكَبِّرْ ، ثُمَّ اقْرَأْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ، ثُمَّ ارْكَعْ حَتَّى تَطْمَئِنَّ رَاكِعًا ، ثُمَّ ارْفَعْ حَتَّى تَعْتَدِلَ قَائِمًا ، ثُمَّ اسْجُدْ حَتَّى تَطْمَئِنَّ سَاجِدًا ، ثُمَّ ارْفَعْ حَتَّى تَطْمَئِنَّ جَالِسًا ، ثُمَّ افْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ كُلِّهَا " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered the mosque and a person also entered therein and offered prayer, and then came and paid salutation to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) . The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) returned his salutation and said: Go back and pray, for you have not offered the prayer. He again prayed as he had prayed before, and came to the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) (may peace be upon. him) and saluted him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) returned the salutation and said: Go back and say prayer, for you have not offered the prayer. This (act of repeating the prayer) was done three times. Upon this the person said: By Him Who hast sent you with Truth, whatever better I can do than this, please teach me. He (the Holy Prophet) said: When you get up to pray, recite takbir, and then recite whatever you conveniently can from the Qur'an, then bow down and remain quietly in that position, then raise yourself and stand erect; then prostrate yourself and remain quietly in that attitude; then raise yourself and sit quietly; and do that throughout all your prayers.
Hadith 423
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يَوْمًا ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا فُلَانُ ، أَلَا تُحْسِنُ صَلَاتَكَ ، أَلَا يَنْظُرُ الْمُصَلِّي إِذَا صَلَّى كَيْفَ يُصَلِّي ؟ فَإِنَّمَا يُصَلِّي لِنَفْسِهِ ، إِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَأُبْصِرُ مِنْ وَرَائِي ، كَمَا أُبْصِرُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: One day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led the prayer. Then turning (towards his Companions) he said: O you, the man, why don't you say your prayer well? Does the observer of prayer not see how he is performing the prayer for he performs it for himself? By Allah, I see behind me as I see in front of me.
Hadith 1030
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ ، لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا ، وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: O Muslim women, none of you should consider even a sheep's trotter too insignificant to give to her neighbour.
Hadith 1339
حدثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حدثنا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ مُسْلِمَةٍ تُسَافِرُ مَسِيرَةَ لَيْلَةٍ ، إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا رَجُلٌ ذُو حُرْمَةٍ مِنْهَا " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: It is not lawful for a Muslim woman to travel a night's journey except when there is a Mahram with her.
Hadith 1339
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حدثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، حدثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ تُسَافِرُ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ ، إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Hereafter to undertake a day's journey except in the company of a Mahram.
Hadith 1339
وحدثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ تُسَافِرُ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ ، إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ عَلَيْهَا " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: It is not lawful for a woman believing in Allah and the Hereafter to undertake journey extending over a day and a night except when there is a Mahram with her.
Hadith 1466
حدثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالُوا : حدثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم قَالَ : " تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ لِأَرْبَعٍ : لِمَالِهَا ، وَلِحَسَبِهَا ، وَلِجَمَالِهَا ، وَلِدِينِهَا ، فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: A woman may be married for four reasons: for her property, her status, her beauty and her religion, so try to get one who is religious, may your hand be besmeared with dust.
Hadith 1703
وحَدَّثَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا ، فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ ، فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا الْحَدَّ وَلَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا ، فَلْيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ " ،
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: When the slave-woman of any of you commits adultery and this (offence of hers) becomes clear, she should be flogged (as the presribed) punishment, but hurl no reproach at her. If she commits adultery again, she should (again be punished) by flogging, but hurl no reproach upon her. If she commits fornication for the third time and it becomes clear, then he should sell her, even if only for a rope of hair.
Hadith 1703
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ . ح وحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ : فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فِي جَلْدِ الْأَمَةِ إِذَا زَنَتْ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ لِيَبِعْهَا فِي الرَّابِعَةِ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) and Zaid bin Khalid al-Juhani, but in this no mention is made of the words of Ibn Shihab that dafir means rope.
Hadith 1765
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : بَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ إِذْ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى يَهُودَ ، فَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى جِئْنَاهُمْ ، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَادَاهُمْ ، فَقَالَ : يَا مَعْشَرَ يَهُودَ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا ، فَقَالُوا : قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا ، فَقَالُوا : قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ : الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ : اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الْأَرْضُ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ، وَأَنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُجْلِيَكُمْ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَرْضِ ، فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْكُمْ بِمَالِهِ شَيْئًا فَلْيَبِعْهُ ، وَإِلَّا فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ " .
It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) who said: We were (sitting) in the mosque when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to us and said: (Let us) go to the Jews. We went out with him until we came to them. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up and called out to them (saying): O ye assembly of Jews, accept Islam (and) you will be safe. They said: Abu'l-Qasim, you have communicated (God's Message to us). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I want this (i. e. you should admit that God's Message has been communicated to you), accept Islam and you would be safe. They said: Abu'l-Qisim, you have communicated (Allah's Message). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I want this... - He said to them (the same words) the third time (and on getting the same reply) he added: You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle, and I wish that I should expel you from this land. Those of you who have any property with them should sell it, otherwise they should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle (ﷺ) (and they may have to go away leaving everything behind).
Hadith 2378
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، " مَنْ أَكْرَمُ النَّاسِ ، قَالَ : أَتْقَاهُمْ ، قَالُوا : لَيْسَ عَنْ هَذَا نَسْأَلُكَ ؟ قَالَ : فَيُوسُفُ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ، ابْنُ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ، ابْنِ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ، ابْنِ خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ ، قَالُوا : لَيْسَ عَنْ هَذَا نَسْأَلُكَ ؟ قَالَ : فَعَنْ مَعَادِنِ الْعَرَبِ تَسْأَلُونِي ؟ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ خِيَارُهُمْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ ، إِذَا فَقُهُوا " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: It was said to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as to who was the most worthy of respect amongst people. He said: The most God-conscious amongst you. They said: It is not this that we are asking about, whereupon he said: Then he is Yusuf, the Apostle (ﷺ) of Aliah and the son of Allah's Apostle, Ya'qub, who was also the son of Allah's Apostle, the friend of Allah (Ibrahim). They said: This is not what we are asking you. He said: You mean the tribes of Arabia? Those who are good in pre-Islamic days are good in Islam (after embracing Islam) when they get an understanding of it.
Hadith 2714
وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَوَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ ، فَلْيَأْخُذْ دَاخِلَةَ إِزَارِهِ ، فَلْيَنْفُضْ بِهَا فِرَاشَهُ وَلْيُسَمِّ اللَّهَ ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَعْلَمُ مَا خَلَفَهُ بَعْدَهُ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَضْطَجِعَ فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ ، وَلْيَقُلْ : سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبِّي بِكَ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ ، إِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا ، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ " ،
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as say ing: When any one of you goes to bed, he should take hold of the hem of his lower garment and then should clean (his bed) with the help of that and then should recite the name of Allah for he himself does not know what he left behind him on his bed, and when he intends to lie on bed, he should lie on his right side and utter these words: "Hallowed be Allah, my Lord. It is with Thine (grace) that I place my side (upon the bed) and it is with Thee that I take it up (after sleep), and in case Thou withholdst my being (if thou causest me to die), then grant pardon to my being, and if Thou keepst (this process of breathing on), then protect it with that with which Thou protected Thine pious servants."
Hadith 2724
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ أَعَزَّ جُنْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَغَلَبَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ فَلَا شَيْءَ بَعْدَهُ " .
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to supplicate thus: "There is no god but Allah, the One Who conferred upon His armies the honour of victory and helped His servant rout the clans; there is nothing after that."
Hadith 2826
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَشَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ سَنَةٍ " ،
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: In Paradise, there is a tree under the shadow of which a rider can travel for a hundred years.
