Hadith 7
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلْقَمَةَ نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، وَكَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَوَّامَةً عَلَى أَمْرِ اللَّهِ لَا يَضُرُّهَا مَنْ خَالَفَهَا " .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that:` The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "A group of my Ummah will continue to adhere steadfastly to the command of Allah and those who oppose them will not be able to harm them."
Hadith 141
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ اتَّخَذَنِي خَلِيلًا كَمَا اتَّخَذَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًا ، فَمَنْزِلِي وَمَنْزِلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تُجَاهَيْنِ ، وَالْعَبَّاسُ بَيْنَنَا مُؤْمِنٌ بَيْنَ خَلِيلَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah has taken me as a close friend (Khalil) as He took Ibrahim as a close friend. So my house and the house of Ibrahim will be opposite to one another on the Day of Resurrection, and 'Abbas will be in between us, a believer between two close friends.'" (Maudu')
Hadith 1422
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيَّانِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا فَاطِمَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبِرْنِي بِعَمَلٍ أَسْتَقِيمُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَعْمَلُهُ ، قَالَ : " عَلَيْكَ بِالسُّجُودِ ، فَإِنَّكَ لَا تَسْجُدُ لِلَّهِ سَجْدَةً ، إِلَّا رَفَعَكَ اللَّهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً ، وَحَطَّ بِهَا عَنْكَ خَطِيئَةً " .
´It was narrated from Kathir bin Murrah that Abu Fatimah told him:` “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of a deed that I can adhere to and act upon.’ He said: “You should prostrate, for you will not prostrate to Allah but He will raise you in status one degree thereby and erase from you one sin.”
Hadith 1821
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرِيبٍ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، قَالَ : خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَدْ عَلَّقَ رَجُلٌ أَقْنَاءَ ، أَوْ قِنْوًا ، وَبِيَدِهِ عَصًا فَجَعَلَ يَطْعَنُ بِذَلِكَ ، يُدَقْدِقُ فِي ذَلِكَ الْقِنْوِ ، وَيَقُولُ : " لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّ هَذِهِ الصَّدَقَةِ تَصَدَّقَ بِأَطْيَبَ مِنْهَا ، إِنَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الصَّدَقَةِ يَأْكُلُ الْحَشَفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
´It was narrated that:` Awf bin Malik Al-Ashja'i said: “The Messenger of Allah went out, and a man had hung up one or more bunches of dates. He (the Prophet) had a stick in his hand and he started hitting that bunch of dates repeatedly, saying: 'If the owner of these dates wanted to give in charity, he should have given something better than these. The owner of this charity will eat rotten and shriveled dates on the Day of Resurrection.' ”
Hadith 2014
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تُؤْذِي امْرَأَةٌ زَوْجَهَا ، إِلَّا قَالَتْ زَوْجَتُهُ : مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ لَا تُؤْذِيهِ قَاتَلَكِ اللَّهُ ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ عِنْدَكِ دَخِيلٌ أَوْشَكَ أَنْ يُفَارِقَكِ إِلَيْنَا " .
´It was narrated from Mu'adh bin Jabal that:` the Messenger of Allah said: "No woman annoys her husband but his wife among houris (of Paradise) safs: 'Do not annoy him, may Allah destroy you, for he is just a temporary guest with you and soon he will leave you and join us."'
Hadith 2537
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ ، عَنْ أَبِي شَجَرَةَ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِقَامَةُ حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مَطَرِ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً فِي بِلَادِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn `Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Carrying out one of the legal punishments prescribed by Allah (SWT) is better than if it were to rain for forty nights in the land of Allah (SWT), Glorified is He.”
Hadith 4054
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ , عَنْ أَبِي شَجَرَةَ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُهْلِكَ عَبْدًا , نَزَعَ مِنْهُ الْحَيَاءَ , فَإِذَا نَزَعَ مِنْهُ الْحَيَاءَ , لَمْ تَلْقَهُ إِلَّا مَقِيتًا مُمَقَّتًا , فَإِذَا لَمْ تَلْقَهُ إِلَّا مَقِيتًا مُمَقَّتًا , نُزِعَتْ مِنْهُ الْأَمَانَةُ , فَإِذَا نُزِعَتْ مِنْهُ الْأَمَانَةُ , لَمْ تَلْقَهُ إِلَّا خَائِنًا مُخَوَّنًا , فَإِذَا لَمْ تَلْقَهُ إِلَّا خَائِنًا مُخَوَّنًا , نُزِعَتْ مِنْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ , فَإِذَا نُزِعَتْ مِنْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ , لَمْ تَلْقَهُ إِلَّا رَجِيمًا مُلَعَّنًا , فَإِذَا لَمْ تَلْقَهُ إِلَّا رَجِيمًا مُلَعَّنًا , نُزِعَتْ مِنْهُ رِبْقَةُ الْإِسْلَامِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “When Allah wants to destroy a person, He takes away modesty from him, you will only see him with the wrath of Allah upon him, and he will be hated by people. When you only see him with the wrath of Allah upon him, and hated by people, then honesty will be taken away from him, and when honesty is taken away from him, you will only see him as a traitor who is called such by others. When you only see him as a traitor who is called such by others, then mercy will be taken away from him, and when mercy is taken away from him, you will only see him as rejected and accursed, and when you only see him as rejected and accursed, then the bond of Islam will be taken away from him.”
