Hadith 47
Another hadith similar to one narrated (above) by Abu Husain is also reported by Abu Hurairah (RA) with the exception of these words: He (the Prophet) said: He should do good to the neighbour.

Muhammad bin Mihran narrates this hadith on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) and made mention of plundering but did not talk of (a thing) having value.

Hadith 272
This hadith is narrated on the same authority from A'mash by another chain of transmitters like one transmitted by Abu Mu'awyia. The hadith reported by 'Isa and Sufyan has these words also: "This hadith surprised the friends of 'Abdullah" for Jarir had embraced Islam after the revelation of al-Ma'ida.
Hadith 274
وحَدَّثَنَا
إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ،

عِيسَى بْنِ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ إِسْحَاق ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا
الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ
مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ
مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنِ
الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : " خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ ، فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ بِالإِدَاوَةِ ، فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ ، فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ، ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ لِيَغْسِلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ ، فَضَاقَتِ الْجُبَّةُ ، فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ ، فَغَسَلَهُمَا ، وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِنَا " .
Mughira bin Shu'bah reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out for relieving himself. When he came back I brought for him a jar (of water) and poured water upon his hands and he washed his face. He tried to wash his forearms, but as the (sleeves of the) gown were tight. He, therefore, brought them out from under the gown. He then washed them, wiped his head, and wiped his socks and then prayed.
Hadith 275
It is narrated from Bilal (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wiped over the socks and turban, and in the hadith transmitted by 'Isa bin Yaunus the words are: " Bilal (RA) narrated it to me."
Hadith 286
Hisham narrated the hadith like one transmitted by Ibn Numair (the above mentioned one) with the same chain of transmitters.

ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي خَالَتِي
مَيْمُونَةُ ، قَالَتْ : " أَدْنَيْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غُسْلَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ ، فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، أَوْ ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الإِنَاءِ ، ثُمَّ أَفْرَغَ بِهِ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ وَغَسَلَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ ، ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِشِمَالِهِ الأَرْضَ ، فَدَلَكَهَا دَلْكًا شَدِيدًا ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ، ثُمَّ أَفْرَغَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ حَفَنَاتٍ مِلْءَ كَفِّهِ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ سَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ ، ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى عَنْ مَقَامِهِ ذَلِكَ ، فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ فَرَدَّهُ " ،
Ibn 'Abbas reported it on the authority of Maimuna, his mother's sister, that she said: I placed water near the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to take a bath because of sexual intercourse. He washed the palms of his bands twice or thrice and then put his hand In the basin and poured water over his private parts and washed them with his left hand. He then struck his hand against the earth and rubbed it with force and then performed ablution for the prayer and then poured three handfuls of water on his head and then washed his whole body after which he moved aside from that place and washed his feet, and then I brought a towel (so that he may wipe his body), but he returned it.
Hadith 415

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُنَا ، يَقُولُ : " لَا تُبَادِرُوا الإِمَامَ ، إِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا ، وَإِذَا قَالَ : وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7 ، فَقُولُوا : آمِينَ ، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا ، وَإِذَا قَالَ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ، فَقُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while teaching us (the principles of faith), said: Do not try to go ahead of the Imam, recite takbir when he recites it. and when he says: "Nor of those who err," you should say Amin, bow down when lie bows down, and when he says: "Allah listens to him who praises Him," say: "O Allah, our Lord, to Thee be the praise".

الأَعْمَشِ ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ ، وَفِي حَدِيثِهِمَا : لَمَّا مَرِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَضَهُ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ مُسْهِر ، فَأُتِيَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، حَتَّى أُجْلِسَ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ ، وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ يُسْمِعُهُمُ التَّكْبِيرَ ، وَفِي حَدِيثِ عِيسَى ، فَجَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ يُسْمِعُ النَّاسَ " .
A'mash reported: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) suffered from illness of which he died, and in the hadith transmitted by Ibn Mus-hir, the words are: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought till he was seated by his (Abu Bakr's) side and the Apostle (ﷺ) led the people in prayer and Abu Bakr (RA) was making takbir audible to them, and in the hadith transmitted by 'Isa the (words are): "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat and led the people in prayer and Abu Bakr (RA) was by his side and he was making (takbir) audible to the people."

عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَسْتَفْتِحُ الصَّلَاةَ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ ، وَالْقِرَاءَةَ بِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ، وَكَانَ إِذَا رَكَعَ ، لَمْ يُشْخِصْ رَأْسَهُ ، وَلَمْ يُصَوِّبْهُ ، وَلَكِنْ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ ، وَكَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ ، لَمْ يَسْجُدْ ، حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ قَائِمًا ، وَكَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السَّجْدَةِ ، لَمْ يَسْجُدْ ، حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ جَالِسًا ، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ : التَّحِيَّةَ ، وَكَانَ يَفْرِشُ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى ، وَيَنْصِبُ رِجْلَهُ الْيُمْنَى ، وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ عُقْبَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ ، وَيَنْهَى أَنْ يَفْتَرِشَ الرَّجُلُ ذِرَاعَيْهِ افْتِرَاشَ السَّبُعِ ، وَكَانَ يَخْتِمُ الصَّلَاةَ بِالتَّسْلِيمِ " ، وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ : وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ عَقِبِ الشَّيْطَانِ .
'A'isha reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to begin prayer with takbir (saying Allih-o-Akbar) and the recitation: "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe." When he bowed he neither kept his head up nor bent it down, but kept it between these extremes; when he raised his head after bowing he did not prostrate himself till he had stood erect; when he raised his head after prostration he did not prostrate himself again till he sat up. At the end of every two rak'ahs he recited the tahiyya; and he used to place his left foot flat (on the ground) and raise up the right; he prohibited the devil's way of sitting on the heels, and he forbade people to spread out their arms like a wild beast. And he used to finish the prayer with the taslim.
Hadith 519
Abu Sa'id al Khudri reported: I visited the Apostle (ﷺ) and saw him praying on a reed mat on which he was prostrating himself. And I saw him praying in a single garment with ends crossed with each other.
Hadith 535
Mus'ab bin Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas reported: I said prayer by the side of my father. When I bowed I intertwined my fingers and placed them between my knees. He struck my hands. When he completed the prayer he said: We used to do that but then were commanded to lift (our palms) to the knees.

Hadith 588
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said: When any one of you completes the last tashahhud. he should seek refuge with Allah from four (trials). I.e. from the torment of Hell, from the torment of grave, from the trial of life and death, and from the mischief of Masih at-Dajjal (Antichrist). This hadith has been narrated by al-Auza'i with the same chain of transmitters but with these words:" When any one of you completes the tashahhud" and he made no mention of the words" the last".

Hadith 625
This hadith has been reported by 'Auza'i with the same chain of transmitters: We used to slaughter the camel during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) after the 'Asr prayer, but he made no mention of: "We used to pray along with him."

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that he went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and found him observing prayer on a mat and prostrating on that.

Hadith 746

I am not aware of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) observing prayer during the whole of the night till morning, or observing fast for a whole month continuously except that of Ramadan.
Hadith 801

Hadith 822

الأَعْمَشُ ، فِي هَذَا الإِسْنَادِ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمَا ، وَقَالَ : إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ النَّظَائِرَ الَّتِي كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِهِنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " اثْنَتَيْنِ فِي رَكْعَةٍ ، عِشْرِينَ سُورَةً فِي عَشْرِ رَكَعَاتٍ " .
This hadith has been narrated by A'mash with the same chain of transmitters in which ('Abdullah bin Mas'ud) said:" I know the manners in which the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited the two surahs in one rak'ah and then twenty surahs in ten rak'ahs."
Hadith 875
Jabir bin 'Abdullah reported: Sulaik Ghatafani came on Friday when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was delivering the sermon. He (Sulaik) sat down. He (the Holy Prophet) said to him: O Sulaik I stand and observe two rak'ahs and make them short, and then said: When any one of you comes on Friday, while the Imam delivers the sermon, he should observe two rak'ahs and should make them short.
Hadith 890

هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ
حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ
أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ ، قَالَتْ : " أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُخْرِجَهُنَّ فِي الْفِطْرِ وَالْأَضْحَى : الْعَوَاتِقَ وَالْحُيَّضَ وَذَوَاتِ الْخُدُورِ ، فَأَمَّا الْحُيَّضُ فَيَعْتَزِلْنَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيَشْهَدْنَ الْخَيْرَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ " ، قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِحْدَانَا لَا يَكُونُ لَهَا جِلْبَابٌ ، قَالَ : " لِتُلْبِسْهَا أُخْتُهَا مِنْ جِلْبَابِهَا " .
Umm 'Atiyya reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded us to bring out on' Id-ul-Fitr and 'Id-ul-Adha young women, menstruating women and purdah-observing ladies, menstruating women kept back from prayer, but participated in goodness and supplication of the Muslims. I said: Messenger of Allah, one of us does not have an outer garment (to cover her face and body). He said: Let her sister cover her with her outer garment.
Hadith 938
Umm 'Atiyya reported: We were refrained from following the bier, but it was not made absolute on us.

A hadith like this has been narrated by 'Uyaina on the authority of A'mash with the same chain of transmitters.
Hadith 963
'Anas bin Malik (RA) said: I heard the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) say (while offering prayer on a dead body): O Allah! forgive him, have mercy upon him. Give him peace and absolve him. Receive him with honour and make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow and hail, cleanse him from faults as is cleaned a white garment from impurity. Requite him with an abode more excellent than his abode, with a family better than his family, and with a mate better than his mate, and save him from the trial of the grave and torment of Hell. ' Auf bin Malik (RA) said: I earnestly desired that I were the dead person to receive the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as this dead body had (received).
