Hadith 963
وحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ ، فَحَفِظْتُ مِنْ دُعَائِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ ، وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ ، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ ، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، أَوْ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ " ، قَالَ : حَتَّى تَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا ذَلِكَ الْمَيِّتَ ، قَالَ : وحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَيْضًا ،
Jubair bin Nufair says: I heard it from ' Auf bin Malik (RA) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said prayer on the dead body, and I remembered his prayer:" O Allah! forgive him, have mercy upon him, give him peace and absolve him. Receive him with honour and make his grave spacious; wash him with water, snow and hail. Cleanse him from faults as Thou wouldst cleanse a white garment from impurity. Requite him with an abode more excellent than his abode, with a family better than his family, and with a mate better than his mate. Admit him to the Garden, and protect him from the torment of the grave and the torment of the Fire." ('Auf bin Malik) said: I earnestly desired that I were this dead body.
Hadith 963
وحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، وَإسحاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ الْحِمْصِيِّ . ح وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، وَهَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ، واللفظ لأبي الطاهر ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ ، يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ ، وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ وَعَافِهِ ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِمَاءٍ وَثَلْجٍ وَبَرَدٍ ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ ، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ، وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ ، وَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابَ النَّارِ " ، قَالَ عَوْفٌ : فَتَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ لَوْ كُنْتُ أَنَا الْمَيِّتَ ، لِدُعَاءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ الْمَيِّتِ .
'Anas bin Malik (RA) said: I heard the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) say (while offering prayer on a dead body): O Allah! forgive him, have mercy upon him. Give him peace and absolve him. Receive him with honour and make his grave spacious. Wash him with water, snow and hail, cleanse him from faults as is cleaned a white garment from impurity. Requite him with an abode more excellent than his abode, with a family better than his family, and with a mate better than his mate, and save him from the trial of the grave and torment of Hell. ' Auf bin Malik (RA) said: I earnestly desired that I were the dead person to receive the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as this dead body had (received).
Hadith 1043
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ ، وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ ، قَالَ سَلَمَةُ : حَدَّثَنَا ، وَقَالَ الدَّارِمِيُّ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْحَبِيبُ الْأَمِينُ ، أَمَّا هُوَ فَحَبِيبٌ إِلَيَّ ، وَأَمَّا هُوَ عِنْدِي فَأَمِينٌ عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعَةً أَوْ ثَمَانِيَةً أَوْ سَبْعَةً ، فَقَالَ : " أَلَا تُبَايِعُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ " ، وَكُنَّا حَدِيثَ عَهْدٍ بِبَيْعَةٍ ، فَقُلْنَا : قَدْ بَايَعْنَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " أَلَا تُبَايِعُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ " ، فَقُلْنَا : قَدْ بَايَعْنَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " أَلَا تُبَايِعُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ " ، قَالَ : فَبَسَطْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا ، وَقُلْنَا : قَدْ بَايَعْنَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَعَلَامَ نُبَايِعُكَ ؟ قَالَ : " عَلَى أَنْ تَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا ، وَالصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ وَتُطِيعُوا ، وَأَسَرَّ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً ، وَلَا تَسْأَلُوا النَّاسَ شَيْئًا ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ بَعْضَ أُولَئِكَ النَّفَرِ ، يَسْقُطُ سَوْطُ أَحَدِهِمْ ، فَمَا يَسْأَلُ أَحَدًا يُنَاوِلُهُ إِيَّاهُ " .
Malik al-Ashja'i reported: We, nine, eight or seven men, were in the company of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he said: Why don't you pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah? (ﷺ) -while we had recently pledged allegiance. So we said: Messenger of Allah, we have already pledged allegiance to you. He again said: Why don't you pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah? (ﷺ) And we said: Messenger of Allah, we have already pledged allegiance to you. He again said: Why don't you pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah? (ﷺ) We stretched our hands and said: Messenger of Allah, we have already pledged allegiance to you. Now tell (on what things) should we pledge allegiance to you. He said: you must pledge allegiance that you would worship Allah only and would not associate with Him anything, (and observe) five prayers, and obey- (and he said one thing in an undertone) -that you would not beg people of anything. (And as a consequence of that) I saw that some of these people did not ask anyone to pick up the whip for them if it fell down.
Hadith 1753
وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَرْحٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " قَتَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ حِمْيَرَ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْعَدُوِّ ، فَأَرَادَ سَلَبَهُ ، فَمَنَعَهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ وَكَانَ وَالِيًا عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ فَأَخْبَرَهُ ، فَقَالَ لِخَالِدٍ : مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُعْطِيَهُ سَلَبَهُ ؟ ، قَالَ : اسْتَكْثَرْتُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : ادْفَعْهُ إِلَيْهِ ، فَمَرَّ خَالِدٌ ، بِعَوْفٍ فَجَرَّ بِرِدَائِهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : هَلْ أَنْجَزْتُ لَكَ مَا ذَكَرْتُ لَكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ ، فَسَمِعَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسْتُغْضِبَ ، فَقَالَ : لَا تُعْطِهِ يَا خَالِدُ لَا تُعْطِهِ يَا خَالِدُ ، هَلْ أَنْتُمْ تَارِكُونَ لِي أُمَرَائِي ؟ إِنَّمَا مَثَلُكُمْ وَمَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ اسْتُرْعِيَ إِبِلًا أَوْ غَنَمًا ، فَرَعَاهَا ثُمَّ تَحَيَّنَ سَقْيَهَا فَأَوْرَدَهَا حَوْضًا ، فَشَرَعَتْ فِيهِ ، فَشَرِبَتْ صَفْوَهُ وَتَرَكَتْ كَدْرَهُ فَصَفْوُهُ لَكُمْ وَكَدْرُهُ عَلَيْهِمْ " ،
Auf bin Malik (RA) has narrated that a man from the Himyar tribe killed an enemy and wanted to take the booty. Khalid bin Walid, who was the commander over them, forbade, him. 'Auf b Malik (the narrator) came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and informed him (to this effect). The latter asked Khalid: What prevented you from giving the booty to him? Khalid said: I thought it was too much. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Hand it over to him. Now when Khalid by Auf, the latter pulled him by his cloak and said (by way of chafing him): Hasn't the same thing happened what I reported to you from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (may peace he upon him)? When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard it, he was angry (and said): Khalid, don't give him, Khalid, don't give him. Are you going to desert the commanders appointed by me? Your similitude and theirs is like a person who took camels and sheep for grazing. He grazed them and when it was time for them to have a drink, he brought them to a pool. So they drank from it, drinking away its clear water and leaving the turbid water below. So the clear water (i. e. the best reward) is for you and the turbid water (i e. blame) is for them.
Hadith 1753
وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، قَالَ : خَرَجْتُ مَعَ مَنْ خَرَجَ مَعَ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ فِي غَزْوَةِ مُؤْتَةَ ، وَرَافَقَنِي مَدَدِيٌّ مِنْ الْيَمَنِ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ غَيْرَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : فِي الْحَدِيثِ ، قَالَ عَوْفٌ : فَقُلْتُ يَا خَالِدُ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِالسَّلَبِ لِلْقَاتِلِ ، قَالَ : بَلَى وَلَكِنِّي اسْتَكْثَرْتُهُ .
It has been narrated on the authority of Auf bin Malik al-Ashja (RA) 'i who said: I joined the expedition that marched under Zaid bin Haritha to Muta, and I received reinformcement from the Yemen. (After this introduction), the narrator narrated the tradition that had gone before except that in his version Auf was reported to have said (to Khalid): Khalid, didn't you know that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (way peace be upon him) had decided In favour of giving the booty (sized from an enemy) to one who killed him? He (Khalid) said: Yes. but I thought it was too much.
Hadith 1855
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ رُزَيْقِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ ، وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ ، وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ ، قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ بِالسَّيْفِ ، فَقَالَ : لَا ، مَا أَقَامُوا فِيكُمُ الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مِنْ وُلَاتِكُمْ شَيْئًا تَكْرَهُونَهُ ، فَاكْرَهُوا عَمَلَهُ وَلَا تَنْزِعُوا يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ " .
It has been narrated on the authority of ' Auf bin Malik (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The best of your rulers are those whom you love and who love you, who invoke God's blessings upon you and you invoke His blessings upon them. And the worst of your rulers are those whom you hate and who hate you and whom you curse and who curse you. It was asked (by those present): Shouldn't we overthrow them with the help of the sword? He said: No, as long as they establish prayer among you. If you then find anything detestable in them. You should hate their administration, but do not withdraw yourselves from their obedience.
Hadith 1855
حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَوْلَى بَنِي فَزَارَةَ وَهُوَ رُزَيْقُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُسْلِمَ بْنَ قَرَظَةَ ابْنَ عَمِّ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ ، وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ ، وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ ، وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ ، قَالُوا : قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ ؟ ، قَالَ : لَا ، مَا أَقَامُوا فِيكُمُ الصَّلَاةَ ، لَا مَا أَقَامُوا فِيكُمُ الصَّلَاةَ أَلَا مَنْ وَلِيَ عَلَيْهِ ، وَالٍ فَرَآهُ يَأْتِي شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ ، فَلْيَكْرَهْ مَا يَأْتِي مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ ، وَلَا يَنْزِعَنَّ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ " ، قَالَ ابْنُ جَابِرٍ : فَقُلْتُ : يَعْنِي لِرُزَيْقٍ حِينَ حَدَّثَنِي بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ آللَّهِ يَا أَبَا الْمِقْدَامِ لَحَدَّثَكَ بِهَذَا أَوْ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَوْفًا ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَجَثَا عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ ، فَقَالَ : إِي وَاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَسَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ،
It has been narrated on the authority of Auf bin Malik al-Ashja (RA) 'i who said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: The best of your rulers are those whom you love and who love you, upon whom you invoke God's blessings and who invoke His blessing upon you. And the worst of your rulers are those whom you hate and who hate you, who curse you and whom you curse. (Those present) said: Shouldn't we overthrow them at this? He said: No, as long as they establish prayer among you. No, as long as they establish prayer among you. Mind you! One who has a governor appointed over him and he finds that the governor indulges in an act of disobedience to God, he should condemn the governor's act, in disobedience to God, but should not withdraw himself from his obedience. Ibn Jabir said: Ruzaiq narrated to me this hadith. I asked him: Abu Miqdam, have you heard it from Muslim bin Qaraza or did he describe it to you and he heard it from 'Auf (b. Malik) and he transmitted this tradition of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ? Upon this Ruzaiq sat upon his knees and facing the Qibla said: By Allah, besides Whom there is no other God, I heard it from Muslim bin Qaraza and he said that te had heard it from Auf (b. Malik) and he said that he had heard it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) .
Hadith 1855
وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَقَالَ رُزَيْقٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي فَزَارَةَ ، قَالَ مُسْلِم : وَرَوَاهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلم .
The above tradition has been narrated through a different chain of transmitters.

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ ، قال : كُنَّا نَرْقِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَقُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ تَرَى فِي ذَلِكَ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : " اعْرِضُوا عَلَيَّ رُقَاكُمْ لَا بَأْسَ بِالرُّقَى مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ شِرْكٌ " .
' Auf bin Malik Ashja (RA) 'i reported: We practised incantation in the pre-Islamic days and we said: Allah's Messenger. what is your opinion about it? He said: Let me know your incantation and said: There is no harm in the incantation which does not smack of polytheism.
