Hadith 147
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ هُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو يَحْيَى سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، وَضَمْرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، وَأَبُو طَلْحَةَ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، قَالُوا : سَمِعْنَا أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبَسَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، كَيْفَ الْوُضُوءُ ؟ قَالَ : " أَمَّا الْوُضُوءُ ، فَإِنَّكَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَغَسَلْتَ كَفَّيْكَ فَأَنْقَيْتَهُمَا خَرَجَتْ خَطَايَاكَ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَظْفَارِكَ وَأَنَامِلِكَ ، فَإِذَا مَضْمَضْتَ وَاسْتَنْشَقْتَ مَنْخِرَيْكَ وَغَسَلْتَ وَجْهَكَ وَيَدَيْكَ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ وَمَسَحْتَ رَأْسَكَ وَغَسَلْتَ رِجْلَيْكَ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، اغْتَسَلْتَ مِنْ عَامَّةِ خَطَايَاكَ ، فَإِنْ أَنْتَ وَضَعْتَ وَجْهَكَ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَرَجْتَ مِنْ خَطَايَاكَ كَيَوْمَ وَلَدَتْكَ أُمُّكَ " . قَالَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبَسَةَ ، انْظُرْ مَا تَقُولُ ، أَكُلُّ هَذَا يُعْطَى فِي مَجْلِسٍ وَاحِدٍ ؟ فَقَالَ : أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَبِرَتْ سِنِّي وَدَنَا أَجَلِي وَمَا بِي مِنْ فَقْرٍ فَأَكْذِبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَقَدْ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
´'Amr bin 'Abasah said:` "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! How is Wudu' done?' He said: 'As for Wudu', when you perform Wudu', and you wash your hands to clean them, your sins come out from between your fingers and fingertips. When you rinse your mouth and nostrils, and wash your face and hands up to the elbows, and wipe your head, and wash your feet up to the ankles, you are cleansed of all your sins. When you prostrate your face to Allah, may He be exalted, you emerge from your sins like the day your mother bore you.'" Abu Umamah said: "I said: 'O 'Amr bin 'Abasah! Look at what you are saying! Was all of that given in one sitting? He said: 'By Allah, I have grown old, my appointed time is near and I am not so poor that I should tell lies about the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I heard it with my own ears and understood it in my heart from the Messenger of Allah.'"
Hadith 185
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قال : كَانَ " آخِرَ الْأَمْرَيْنِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : تَرْكُ الْوُضُوءِ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ " .
It was reported that Jabir (ra) said "That last of the two matters from the Messenger ofAllah (ﷺ) was leaving off ablution from that which had been touched by fire."
Hadith 461
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَبِيبُ الْأَمِينُ عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ، قال : كُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : أَلَا تُبَايِعُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَرَدَّدَهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، فَقَدَّمْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا فَبَايَعْنَاهُ ، فَقُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَدْ بَايَعْنَاكَ ، فَعَلَامَ ؟ قَالَ : " عَلَى أَنْ تَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا وَالصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ ، وَأَسَرَّ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً أَنْ لَا تَسْأَلُوا النَّاسَ شَيْئًا " .
´'Awf bin Malik Al-Ashja'i said:` "We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he said: 'Will you not pledge to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?' And he repeated it three times. So we stretched forth our hands to give our pledge. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we are willing to give you our pledge, but on what?' He said: 'That you will worship Allah and not associate anything with him, and (offer) the five daily prayers.' And he said, very quietly: 'And you will not ask the people for anything.'"
Hadith 502
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، يَرْفَعُهُ ، قال : " أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ فَإِنَّ الَّذِي تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Musa in a Marfu' [1] report:` "Wait until it cools down to pray Zuhr, for the heat you experience is a breeze from Hell." [1] Meaning he attributed it to the Prophet (ﷺ).
Hadith 517
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَدْرَكَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوَّلَ سَجْدَةٍ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَلَاتَهُ ، وَإِذَا أَدْرَكَ أَوَّلَ سَجْدَةٍ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَلَاتَهُ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` "If any one of you catches the first prostration of 'Asr prayer before the sun sets, let him complete his prayer, and if he catches up with the first prostration of Fajr prayer before the sub rises, let him complete his prayer."
Hadith 573
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو يَحْيَى سُلَيْمُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، وَضَمْرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، وَأَبُو طَلْحَةَ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، قَالُوا : سَمِعْنَا أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ عَبَسَةَ ، يقول : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَلْ مِنْ سَاعَةٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنَ الْأُخْرَى أَوْ هَلْ مِنْ سَاعَةٍ يُبْتَغَى ذِكْرُهَا ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ ، إِنَّ أَقْرَبَ مَا يَكُونُ الرَّبُّ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنَ الْعَبْدِ جَوْفَ اللَّيْلِ الْآخِرَ ، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِمَّنْ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ فَكُنْ ، فَإِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ مَحْضُورَةٌ مَشْهُودَةٌ إِلَى طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ ، فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ ، وَهِيَ سَاعَةُ صَلَاةِ الْكُفَّارِ فَدَعِ الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ قِيدَ رُمْحٍ وَيَذْهَبَ شُعَاعُهَا ، ثُمَّ الصَّلَاةُ مَحْضُورَةٌ مَشْهُودَةٌ حَتَّى تَعْتَدِلَ الشَّمْسُ اعْتِدَالَ الرُّمْحِ بِنِصْفِ النَّهَارِ ، فَإِنَّهَا سَاعَةٌ تُفْتَحُ فِيهَا أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَتُسْجَرُ فَدَعِ الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى يَفِيءَ الْفَيْءُ ، ثُمَّ الصَّلَاةُ مَحْضُورَةٌ مَشْهُودَةٌ حَتَّى تَغِيبَ الشَّمْسُ فَإِنَّهَا تَغِيبُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ وَهِيَ صَلَاةُ الْكُفَّارِ " .
´Abu Yahya Sulaim bin 'Amir, Damrah bin Habib and Abu Talhah Nu'aim bin Ziyad said:` "We heard Abu Umamah Al-Bahili say: 'I heard 'Amrah bin 'Abasah say: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is there any moment which brings one close to Allah than another, or any moment that should be sought out for remembering Allah? He said: 'Yes, the closest that the Lord is to His slave is in the last part of the night, so if you can be among those who remember Allah at that time, then do so. For prayer is attended and witnessed (by the angels) until the sun rises, then it rises between the two horns of the Shaitan, that is the time when the disbelievers pray, so do not pray until the sun had risen to the height of a spear and its rays have disappeared. Then prayer is attended and witness (by the angels) until the sun is directly overhead at midday, and that is the time when the gates of Hell are opened and it is stoked up. So do not pray until the shadows appear. Then prayer is attended and witnessed (by angels) until the sun sets, and it sets between the horns of a Shaitan, and that is the time when the disbelievers pray.'"
Hadith 681
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ الْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ ، إِلَّا حَلَّتْ لَهُ شَفَاعَتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` "The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: 'Whoever says, when he hears the call to prayer: "Allahumma rabba hadhihid-da'wat it-tammah was-salat il-qaimah, ati Muahmmadan al-wasilah wal-fadilah, wab'athu maqaman mahmudan alladhi wa'adtahu (O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege (of interceding) and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that you have promised),' will be granted my intercession on the Day of Resurrection."
Hadith 694
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ دَاوُدَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا بَنَى بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خِلَالًا ثَلَاثَةً : سَأَلَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حُكْمًا يُصَادِفُ حُكْمَهُ فَأُوتِيَهُ ، وَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مُلْكًا لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ فَأُوتِيَهُ ، وَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنْ بِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ أَنْ لَا يَأْتِيَهُ أَحَدٌ لَا يَنْهَزُهُ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةُ فِيهِ أَنْ يُخْرِجَهُ مِنْ خَطِيئَتِهِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "When Sulaiman bin Dawud finished building Bait Al-Maqdis, he asked Allah for three things: Judgement that was in harmony with His judgement, and he was given that. And he asked Allah for a dominion that no one after him would have, and he was given that. And when he finished building the Masjid he asked Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that no one should come to it, intending only to pray there, but he would emerge free of sin as the day his mother bore him."
Hadith 774
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ صُبْحٍ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ خِلَاسَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ " كُنْتُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ فِي الشِّعَارِ الْوَاحِدِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ طَامِثٌ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ مِنِّي شَيْءٌ غَسَلَ مَا أَصَابَهُ لَمْ يَعْدُهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ وَصَلَّى فِيهِ ، ثُمَّ يَعُودُ مَعِي فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ مِنِّي شَيْءٌ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَعْدُهُ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ " .
´Khilas bin 'Amr said:` "I heard Aisha (ra) say: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), Abii Al-Qbim, and I were beneath a single blanket, and I was menstruating. If something got on him from me, he would wash whatever had got on him and he did not wash anywhere else, and he prayed in it then came back to me.And if anything got on him from me,he would do exactly the same and he did not wash anywhere else."'
Hadith 822
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ هَانِئٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ مَحْمُودٍ ، قال : كُنَّا مَعَ أَنَسٍ فَصَلَّيْنَا مَعَ أَمِيرٍ مِنَ الْأُمَرَاءِ " فَدَفَعُونَا حَتَّى قُمْنَا وَصَلَّيْنَا بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ فَجَعَلَ أَنَسٌ يَتَأَخَّرُ وَقَالَ : قَدْ كُنَّا نَتَّقِي هَذَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdul Hamid bin Mahmud said:` "We were with Anas and we prayed with one of the Amirs. They pushed us until we stood and prayed between two rows, and Anas started moving backward and said: 'We used to avoid this at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)."
Hadith 877
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ . ح وأَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قال : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ التَّكْبِيرَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ يُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى يَجْعَلَهُمَا حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا كَبَّرَ لِلرُّكُوعِ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ إِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَقَالَ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ حِينَ يَسْجُدُ وَلَا حِينَ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السُّجُودِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn Umar said:` I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he said the opening Takbir of the prayer, raise his hands until they were level with his shoulders. When he said the Takbir before bowing he did likewise, and when he said: 'Sami Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him),' he did likewise, then he said: 'Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (Our Lord, to You be praise).' But he did not do that when he prostrated or when he raised his head from prostration.

أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ نُفَيْلٍ قال : قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَعْقِلِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قال : أَقْرَأَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُورَةً فَبَيْنَا أَنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ جَالِسٌ إِذْ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا يَقْرَؤُهَا يُخَالِفُ قِرَاءَتِي فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : مَنْ عَلَّمَكَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ فَقَالَ : رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ لَا تُفَارِقْنِي حَتَّى نَأْتِيَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ هَذَا خَالَفَ قِرَاءَتِي فِي السُّورَةِ الَّتِي عَلَّمْتَنِي ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اقْرَأْ يَا أُبَيُّ " فَقَرَأْتُهَا فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَحْسَنْتَ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِلرَّجُلِ : " اقْرَأْ فَقَرَأَ فَخَالَفَ قِرَاءَتِي " فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْسَنْتَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا أُبَيُّ : " إِنَّهُ أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ كُلُّهُنَّ شَافٍ كَافٍ " قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : مَعْقِلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ لَيْسَ بِذَلِكَ الْقَوِيِّ " .
´It was narrated that Ubayy bin Ka'b said:` "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) taught me a surah, and when I was sitting in the masjid I heard a man reciting it in a way that was different from mine. I said to him: 'Who taught you this surah?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).' I said: 'Stay with me until we go to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).' So we came to him and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, this man recites a surah that you taught me differently.' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Recite, O Ubayy.' So I recited it, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: 'You have done well.' Then he said to the man: 'Recite.' So he recited it and it was different to my recitation. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him: 'You have done well.' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'O Ubayy, the Quran has been revealed with seven different modes of reciation, all of which are good and sound."
Hadith 986
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْمَاجِشُونُ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ ، قالت : " صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِهِ الْمَغْرِبَ فَقَرَأَ الْمُرْسَلَاتِ مَا صَلَّى بَعْدَهَا صَلَاةً حَتَّى قُبِضَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
´It was narrated from Anas that Umm Al-Fadl bint Al-Harith said:` " The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in praying maghrib in his house and he recited Al-Mursalat, then after that, he never offered any prayer until he died."
Hadith 1007
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ، قال : أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَأَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ : إِنِّي قَرَأْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ الْمُفَصَّلَ فِي رَكْعَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : هَذًّا كَهَذِّ الشِّعْرِ " لَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ النَّظَائِرَ عِشْرِينَ سُورَةً مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ مِنْ آلِ حم " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah that:` A man came to him and said: "Last night I recited Al-Mufassal in one rak'ah." He said: "That is like reciting poetry. But the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite similar surahs, twenty surahs from Al-Mufassal, those that start with Ha-Mim."
Hadith 1050
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ يَعْنِي النَّسَائِيَّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ قَيْسٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ وَهُوَ عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمَ بْنَ حُمَيْدٍ قال : سَمِعْتُ عَوْفَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ : " قُمْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ مَكَثَ قَدْرَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ يَقُولُ فِي رُكُوعِهِ : سُبْحَانَ ذِي الْجَبَرُوتِ وَالْمَلَكُوتِ وَالْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ " .
´'Asim bin Humaid said:` "I heard 'Awf bin Malik say: 'I prayed Qiyam with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) one night, and when he bowed, he stayed as long as it takes to recite Surat Al-Baqarah, saying: "Subhana Dhil-jabaruti wal-malakuti wal-kibriya' wal-'azamah (Glory be to the One Who has all power, sovereignty, magnificence and might)."
Hadith 1098
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ النَّسَائِيُّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ عَلَى الْجَبْهَةِ وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الْأَنْفِ وَالْيَدَيْنِ وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَأَطْرَافِ الْقَدَمَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones: on the forehead"- and he pointed with his hand- "on the nose, the hands, the knees and the ends of the feet."
Hadith 1319
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورْ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ الْقِبْطِيَّةِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْنَا : السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمُ , السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ , وَأَشَارَ مِسْعَرٌ بِيَدِهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ , فَقَالَ : " مَا بَالُ هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ الْخَيْلِ الشُّمُسِ أَمَا يَكْفِي أَنْ يَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ ، ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَى أَخِيهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Ubaidullah bin Al-Qibtiyyah said:` "I heard Jabir bin Samurah say: 'When we prayed behind the Prophet (ﷺ) we used to say: As-salamu 'alaykum, as-salamu 'alaykum (peace be upon you, peace be upon you)" - and Mis'ar (one of the narrators) pointed with his hand to the right and the left. He (ﷺ) said: 'What is the matter with these people who wave their hands as if they are the tails of wild horses? It is sufficient for one to place his hands on his thighs and to say the salam to his brother to his right and left."
Hadith 1382
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , وَهَارُونُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلَالٍ , وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْهِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ وَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ , كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا " .
´It was narrated from Aws bin Aws that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever washes (Ghassala) and performs Ghusl, comes early to the Masjid and sits near the Imam, and does not engage in idle talk, he will have for every step he takes (the reward of) a year's worth of good deeds, fasting it and praying Qiyam during it."
Hadith 1496
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّادٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ , " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِهِمْ فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ لَا نَسْمَعُ لَهُ صَوْتًا " .
´It was narrated from Samurah that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) led them in prayer during an eclipse of the sun, and we did not hear him say anything.
Hadith 1763
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ بِالْأُولَى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَتَبَيَّنَ الْفَجْرُ ، ثُمَّ يَضْطَجِعُ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ " .
´It was narrated that Aishah said:` "When the Muaddhin fell silent after the Adhan for the beginning of Fajr, he would pray two brief rak'ahs, then he would lie down on his right side."
Hadith 1831
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّهُ لَبَيْنَ حَاقِنَتِي وَذَاقِنَتِي ، فَلَا أَكْرَهُ شِدَّةَ الْمَوْتِ لِأَحَدٍ أَبَدًا بَعْدَ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah died while he was between my chest and my chin, and I never disliked the agony of death for anyone after I saw the Messenger of Allah."
Hadith 1885
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ , عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي غَسْلِ ابْنَتِهِ : " ابْدَأْنَ بِمَيَامِنِهَا وَمَوَاضِعِ الْوُضُوءِ مِنْهَا " .
´It was narrated from Umm 'Atiyyah that:` the Messenger of Allah said concerning the washing of his daughter: "Start on the right and the parts that were washed in wudu."'
Hadith 2134
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ . ح أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : لَمْ أَزَلْ حَرِيصًا أَنْ أَسْأَلَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْمَرْأَتَيْنِ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّتَيْنِ , قَالَ اللَّهُ لَهُمَا : إِنْ تَتُوبَا إِلَى اللَّهِ فَقَدْ صَغَتْ قُلُوبُكُمَا سورة التحريم آية 4 , وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فِيهِ : فَاعْتَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِسَاءَهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ الْحَدِيثِ ، حِينَ أَفْشَتْهُ حَفْصَةُ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً ، قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : وَكَانَ قَالَ : مَا أَنَا بِدَاخِلٍ عَلَيْهِنَّ شَهْرًا مِنْ شِدَّةِ مَوْجِدَتِهِ عَلَيْهِنَّ ، حِينَ حَدَّثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَدِيثَهُنَّ ، فَلَمَّا مَضَتْ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً ، دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَبَدَأَ بِهَا ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ عَائِشَةُ : إِنَّكَ قَدْ كُنْتَ آلَيْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْ لَا تَدْخُلَ عَلَيْنَا شَهْرًا ، وَإِنَّا أَصْبَحْنَا مِنْ تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً نَعُدُّهَا عَدَدًا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "I was very keen to ask 'Umar bin Al-Khattab about the two wives of the Messenger of Allah to whom Allah said: If you two turn in repentance to Allah, (it will be better for you), your hearts are indeed so inclined." And he quoted the Hadith. He said concerning it:' "The from his wives for twenty-nine days because of that, when Hafsah had made her disclosure to Aishah. He had said: 'I will not enter upon them for a month,' because he was so upset with them when Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, informed him of what they had said. When twenty-nine days had passed, he entered upon 'Aishah, so he started with her. Aishah, said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, you swore not to enter upon us for a month, and now twenty-nine days have passed; we have been counting them.' The Messenger of Allah said; 'The month is twenty-nine days."'
Hadith 2317
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ وُهَيْبِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ يَتَغَدَّى ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلُمَّ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ " ، فَقَالَ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَضَعَ لِلْمُسَافِرِ الصَّوْمَ ، وَشَطْرَ الصَّلَاةِ ، وَعَنِ الْحُبْلَى وَالْمُرْضِعِ " .
´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that:` he came to Prophet in Al-Madinah when he was eating breakfast. The Prophet said to him: "Come and eat the breakfast." He said: "I am fasting." The Prophet said to him: "Allah, the mighty and sublime, has waived fasting and half of the prayer for the traveler and for pregnant and breastfeeding women."
Hadith 2324
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ : " هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ شَيْءٌ ؟ " , فَقُلْتُ : لَا ، قَالَ : " فَإِنِّي صَائِمٌ " ، ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِي بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَقَدْ أُهْدِيَ إِلَيَّ حَيْسٌ فَخَبَأْتُ لَهُ مِنْهُ ، وَكَانَ يُحِبُّ الْحَيْسَ ، قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ! إِنَّهُ أُهْدِيَ لَنَا حَيْسٌ ، فَخَبَأْتُ لَكَ مِنْهُ ، قَالَ : " أَدْنِيهِ أَمَا إِنِّي قَدْ أَصْبَحْتُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ صَوْمِ الْمُتَطَوِّعِ مَثَلُ الرَّجُلِ يُخْرِجُ مِنْ مَالِهِ الصَّدَقَةَ ، فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَمْضَاهَا ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ حَبَسَهَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "The Messenger of Allah came to me one day and said: 'Do you have anything (to eat)?' I said: 'No.' he said: 'Then I am fasting.' Then he came to me after that day, and I had been given some Hais. I had kept some for him as he liked Hais. She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have been given some Hais and I kept some for you.' He said: 'Bring it here. I started the day fasting.' Then he ate some of it, then he said: 'The likeness of a voluntary fast is that of a man who allocated some of his wealth to give in charity; if he wishes he may go ahead and give it, and if he wishes he may keep it."'
Hadith 2468
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : كِدْتُ أُقْتَلُ بَعْدَكَ فِي عَنَاقٍ أَوْ شَاةٍ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " لَوْلَا أَنَّهَا تُعْطَى فُقَرَاءَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مَا أَخَذْتُهَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Hilal Ath-Thaqafi said:` "A man came to the Prophet and said: 'I feared that I might be killed after you are gone for the sake of a goat or sheep of the Sadaqah.' He said: 'Were it not that it will be given to the poor Muhajirin I would not have taken it."' (Daif)
Hadith 2578
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الدِّيلِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " السَّاعِي عَلَى الْأَرْمَلَةِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ ، كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: "The one who strives to sponsor a widow or a poor person is like the one who strives in Jihad in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime."'
Hadith 2608
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي السَّائِبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، أَنَّ حُوَيْطِبَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ السَّعْدِيِّ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فِي خِلَافَتِهِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : أَلَمْ أُخْبَرْ أَنَّكَ تَلِي مِنْ أَعْمَالِ النَّاسِ أَعْمَالًا فَإِذَا أُعْطِيتَ الْعُمَالَةَ كَرِهْتَهَا ، قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : فَمَا تُرِيدُ إِلَى ذَلِكَ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّ لِي أَفْرَاسًا وَأَعْبُدًا وَأَنَا بِخَيْرٍ ، وَأُرِيدُ أَنْ يَكُونَ عَمَلِي صَدَقَةً عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : فَلَا تَفْعَلْ فَإِنِّي كُنْتُ أَرَدْتُ الَّذِي أَرَدْتَ ، فَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْطِينِي الْعَطَاءَ فَأَقُولُ : أَعْطِهِ أَفْقَرَ إِلَيْهِ مِنِّي ، حَتَّى أَعْطَانِي مَرَّةً مَالًا ، فَقُلْتُ : أَعْطِهِ أَفْقَرَ إِلَيْهِ مِنِّي ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خُذْهُ فَتَمَوَّلْهُ وَتَصَدَّقْ بِهِ ، فَمَا جَاءَكَ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ وَأَنْتَ غَيْرُ مُشْرِفٍ ، وَلَا سَائِلٍ فَخُذْهُ وَمَا لَا فَلَا تُتْبِعْهُ نَفْسَكَ " .
´Abdullah bin As-Sa'di narrated that he came to 'Umar bin Al-Khattab during his Caliphate and 'Umar said to him:` "I heard that you do some jobs for the people but when payment is given to you, you do not like it." I said: "Yes (that is so)." He said: "Why do you do that? I said: "I have horses and slaves and well off, and I wanted my work to be an act of charity toward the Muslims." 'Umar said to him: "Do not do that. I used to want the same thing as you. The Messenger of Allah used to give me payment and I would say, 'Give it to someone who is more in need of it than I am' until, on one occasion, the Prophet gave me payment and I said: 'Give it to someone who is more in said: "Take it and keep it or give it in charity. Wealth when you are not hoping for it and not asking for it, take it, and whatever does not, then do not wish for it."'
Hadith 2609
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْطِينِي الْعَطَاءَ فَأَقُولُ : أَعْطِهِ أَفْقَرَ إِلَيْهِ مِنِّي ، حَتَّى أَعْطَانِي مَرَّةً مَالًا فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : أَعْطِهِ أَفْقَرَ إِلَيْهِ مِنِّي فَقَالَ : " خُذْهُ فَتَمَوَّلْهُ وَتَصَدَّقْ بِهِ ، وَمَا جَاءَكَ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ وَأَنْتَ غَيْرُ مُشْرِفٍ وَلَا سَائِلٍ فَخُذْهُ ، وَمَا لَا فَلَا تُتْبِعْهُ نَفْسَكَ " .
´'Abdullah bin Umar said:` "I heard 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, say: The Prophet used to give me payment and I would say: Give it to someone who is more, in need of it than I am, until one day he gave me some money and I said to him: Give it to someone who is more in need of it than I am. He said: Take it and keep it or give it in charity. Whatever comes to you of this wealth when you are not hoping for it and not asking for it, take it, and whatever does not, then do not wish for it. "'
Hadith 2624
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُور ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سُهَيْلٌ , عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْحَجَّةُ الْمَبْرُورَةُ لَيْسَ لَهَا ثَوَابٌ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ ، مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : تُكَفِّرُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said:` "Hajj Al-Mabrur brings no reward other than paradise," the report is the same except that he said, "expiates for what came in between."
Hadith 2648
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : رَفَعَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَبِيًّا ، فَقَالَتْ : " أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "A woman lifted a child up to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'Is there Hajj for this one?' He said: 'Yes, and you will be rewarded.'''(sahih)
Hadith 2654
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ بَهْرَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَافَى ، عَنْ أَفْلَحَ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ وَمِصْرَ الْجُحْفَةَ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ ذَاتَ عِرْقٍ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah:` That the Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah, Al-Juhfah for the people of Ash-sham and Eguypt, Dhat 'Irq fro the people of al-Iraq, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen.
Hadith 3024
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " أَفَاضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ ، وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ ، وَأَوْضَعَ فِي وَادِي مُحَسِّرٍ ، وَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَرْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ " .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` "The Messenger of Allah departed (From Arafat) in a tranquil manner, and he enjoined them to be tranquil. He hurried in the valley of Muhassir and told them to stone the Jamrat with (pebbles like date stones or fingertips. (Daif)
Hadith 3033
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ بِجَمْعٍ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn Umar said:` "The Messenger of Allah prayed Maghrib and Isha in Jam (Al-Muzdalifah) with one Iqamah."
Hadith 3170
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ , عَنْ سَلْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ رَابَطَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً ، كَانَتْ لَهُ كَصِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ ، فَإِنْ مَاتَ جَرَى عَلَيْهِ عَمَلُهُ الَّذِي كَانَ يَعْمَلُ ، وَأَمِنَ الْفَتَّانَ ، وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ " .
´It was narrated that Salman said:` "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Whoever guards Ribat (the frontier) in the cause of Allah for one day and one night, he will have (a reward) like that of fasting and praying Qiyam for a month. If he dies he will continue to receive reward for what he did, and he will be kept safe from Al-Fattan, and he will be given provision.'"
Hadith 3171
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ زُهْرَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " رِبَاطُ يَوْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ يَوْمٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَنَازِلِ " .
´It was narrated from Zurah bin Ma'bad:` "Abu Salih, the freed slave of 'Uthman, said: 'I heard 'Uthman bin 'Affan say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Ribat (guarding the frontier) for one day in the cause of Allah is better in rank than a thousand days spent within the residence.'"
Hadith 3280
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَلَّمَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي شَيْءٍ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ ، مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللَّهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ ، وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمَّا بَعْدُ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that a man spoke to the Prophet about something and the Prophet said:` "Innal-hamda lillahi nahmaduhu wa nasta'inahu, man yahdih Illahu fala mudilla lahu wa man yudlil Illahu fala hadiya lahu, wa ashhadu an la ilaha illallahu (wahdahu lasharika lahu) wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abdahu wa rasuluhu. Amma ba'd (Praise be to Allah, we seek His help. Whomsoever Allah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah (alone with no partners) and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. To proceed)."
Hadith 3294
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا ، وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said:` "A woman should not be taken as a co-wife to her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt."
Hadith 3334
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : أَصَبْتُ عَمِّي وَمَعَهُ رَايَةٌ فَقُلْتُ : أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ " بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ نَكَحَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ وَآخُذَ مَالَهُ " .
´It was narrated from Yazid bin Al-Bara' that his father said:` "I met my maternal uncle who was carrying a flag (for an expedition) and I said: 'Where are you going?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah is sending me to a man who has married his father's wife, and he has commanded me to strike his neck (kill him) and seize his wealth.'"
Hadith 3345
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ . ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، " أَعْتَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَفِيَّةَ ، وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا مَهْرَهَا " , وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ .
It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah manumitted Safiyyah and made her freedom her dowry.
