Hadith 3452
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “You should take the two that bring healing: Honey and the Qur’an.”
Hadith 3501
´It was narrated from ‘Ali that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The best remedy is the Qur’an.”
Hadith 3572
´It was narrated that Hudhaifah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took hold of the lower part of my calf or his calf and said: ‘This is where the lower wrap should come to. If you insist, then lower, and if you insist, then lower, but the lower wrap has no right to (come to) the ankle.’”
Hadith 3599
´It was narrated that Bara’ said:` “I never saw anyone more handsome then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), with his hair combed, wearing a red two-piece suit.”
Hadith 3628
´It was narrated that Abu Juhaifah said:` “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and this part of his hair was white” – meaning the tuft of hair between the lower lip and the chin.
Hadith 3654
´It was narrated that ‘Ali said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade rings of gold and Al-Mitharah,”* meaning the red ones.
Hadith 3703
´It was narrated from Bara bin Azib that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "There are no two Muslims who meet and shake hands, but they will be forgiven before they part."
Hadith 3791
حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا

عَمَّارِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ , عَنْ
أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ
الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ , عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ,
وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ , يَشْهَدَانِ بِهِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ فِيهِ , إِلَّا حَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ , وَتَغَشَّتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ , وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ , وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed bore witness that the Prophet(ﷺ) said:` "No people sit in a gathering remembering Allah, But the angels surround them, mercy covers them, tranquility descends upon them and Allah remembers them before those who are with Him."
Hadith 3794

حَمْزَةَ الزَّيَّاتِ , عَنْ
أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ
الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ , أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ,
وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ , أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِذَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ , وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ , قَالَ : يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : صَدَقَ عَبْدِي , لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا , وَأَنَا أَكْبَرُ , وَإِذَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ , قَالَ : صَدَقَ عَبْدِي , لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا وَحْدِي , وَإِذَا قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ , قَالَ : صَدَقَ عَبْدِي , لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا , وَلَا شَرِيكَ لِي , وَإِذَا قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، قَالَ : صَدَقَ عَبْدِي , لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا , لِي الْمُلْكُ وَلِيَ الْحَمْدُ , وَإِذَا قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ , قَالَ : صَدَقَ عَبْدِي , لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِي " , قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاق : ثُمَّ قَالَ : الْأَغَرُّ شَيْئًا لَمْ أَفْهَمْهُ , قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ : مَا قَالَ , فَقَالَ : مَنْ رُزِقَهُنَّ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ ، لَمْ تَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah and Abu Saeed bore witness that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "If a person says: 'La ilaha illallahu wa Allahu Akbar (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Allah is the Most Great),'Allah says: 'My slave has spoken the truth; there is none worthy of worship except I, and I am the Most Great.' If a person says: La ilaha Illallah wahdahu (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone), Allah says: 'My slave has spoken the truth; there is none worthy of worship except I, alone.' If he says, La ilaha illallahu la sharikalahu (There is none worthy of worship except Allah with no partner or associate),' Allah says: 'My slave has spoken the truth; there is none worthy of worship except I, with no partner or associate.' If he says: 'La illah illallah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu (There is none worthy of worship except Allah, all dominion is His and all praise is to Him),' Allah says: 'My slave has spoken the truth; there is none of worthy of worship except I, all dominion Mine and all praise is due to Me.' If he says: ' La illaha illallah, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah (There is none worthy of worship and there is no power and no strength except with Allah),' Allah says: 'My slave has spoken then truth; there is none worthy of worship except I, and tehre is no power and no strength except with Me.' One of the narrators Abu Ishaq said: "Then Agharr (another narrator) said something that I did not understand. I said to Abu Jafar: 'What did he say?' He said: 'Whoever is blessed with (the ability to say) them (these words) at the time of death, the Fire will not touch him.'"
Hadith 3802

إِسْرَائِيلُ , عَنْ
أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ
عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ , عَنْ
أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا , طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ , فَلَمَّا صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي قَالَ هَذَا ؟ " , قَالَ الرَّجُلُ : أَنَا , وَمَا أَرَدْتُ إِلَّا الْخَيْرَ , فَقَالَ : لَقَدْ فُتِحَتْ لَهَا أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ , فَمَا نَهْنَهَهَا شَيْءٌ دُونَ الْعَرْشِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Abdul-Jabbar bin Wa'il that :` his father said: "I prayed with the Prophet (ﷺ) and a man said: 'Alhamdu lillahi hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fihi (Praise is to Allah, much, good and blessed praise).' When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished praying, he said: 'Who said that?' The man said: 'It was me, but I did not mean anything but good.' He said: 'The gates of heaven were opened because of it and nothing prevented it from reaching the Throne.'"
Hadith 3817
´It was narrated that Hudhaifah said:` "I was harsh in the way I spoke to my family, but not to others. I mentioned that to the Prophet (saas) and he said: 'Why don't you ask for forgiveness? Ask Allah to forgive you, seventy times each day.'"
Hadith 3832
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah that :` the Prophet (saas) used to say: "Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afaf wal-ghina (O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and affluence)."
Hadith 3844

عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ , عَنْ
عُمَرَ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ : " الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ , وَأَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ , وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ , وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ " , قَالَ وَكِيعٌ يَعْنِي : الرَّجُلَ يَمُوتُ عَلَى فِتْنَةٍ , لَا يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ مِنْهَا .
´It was narrated from 'Umar that the :` Prophet saas used to seek refuge with Allah from cowardice, miserliness, old age, the torment of the grave and the tribulation of the heart. (Da'if)(One of the narrators) Waki' said: "Meaning when a man dies in a state of tribulation (Fitnah) and does not ask Allah to forgive him."
Hadith 3852
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that :` the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "May Allah have mercy on us and on our brother of 'Ad." (i.e., Prophet Hud alay-salaam).
Hadith 3876
حَدَّثَنَا
عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا
وَكِيعٌ , حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ
أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ
الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ , أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ : " إِذَا أَخَذْتَ مَضْجَعَكَ , أَوْ أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ , فَقُلْ : اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ , وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ , وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ , رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ , لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَأَ مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ , آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ , وَنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ , فَإِنْ مِتَّ مِنْ لَيْلَتِكَ , مِتَّ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ , وَإِنْ أَصْبَحْتَ , أَصْبَحْتَ وَقَدْ أَصَبْتَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا " .
´It was narrated from Bara' bin 'Azib that :` the Prophet (saas) said to a man: "When you go to lay down, or go to your bed, say: Allahumma aslamtu wajhi ilayka, wa al-ja'tu zahri ilayka, wa fawwadtu amri ilayka, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayka, la malja'a wa la manja'a minka illa ilayka, amantu bi kitabikal-ladhi anzalta, wa nabiyyikal arsalta [O Allah, I have submitted my face (i.e., myself) to You, and I am under Your command (i.e., I depend upon You in all my affairs), and I put my trust in You, hoping for Your reward and fearing Your punishment. There is no fleeing from You and no refuge from You except with You. I believe in Your Book that You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent).' Then if you die that night, you will die in a state of the Fitrah (nature), and if you wake in the morning you will wake with a great deal of good."
Hadith 3877
´It was narrated from 'Abdullah that:` whenever the Prophet (saas) went to his bed, he would put his hand - meaning his right hand - beneath his cheek then say: "Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yawm tab'athu - [or: tajma'u] - 'ibadaka (O Allah, save me from Your punishment on the Day when You resurrect - or gather - Your slaves)."
Hadith 3900
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever sees me in a dream, has seen me in reality, for Satan cannot appear in my form.”
Hadith 3941
´It was narrated from Sa’d that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Verbally abusing a Muslim is Fusuq (disobedience) and fighting him is Kufr.”
Hadith 3988
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.” It was said: “Who are the strangers?’ He said: “Strangers who have left their families and tribes.”
Hadith 4009
´It was narrated from ‘Ubaidullah bin Jarir that his father said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘There is no people among whom sins are committed when they are stronger and of a higher status (i.e. they have the power and ability to stop the sinners) and they do not change them, but Allah will send His punishment upon them all.’”
Hadith 4163
حَدَّثَنَا
إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مُوسَى , حَدَّثَنَا
شَرِيكٌ , عَنْ
أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ
حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ , قَالَ : أَتَيْنَا
خَبَّابًا نَعُودُهُ , فَقَالَ : لَقَدْ طَالَ سَقْمِي وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " لَا تَتَمَنَّوْا الْمَوْتَ لَتَمَنَّيْتُهُ , وَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيُؤْجَرُ فِي نَفَقَتِهِ كُلِّهَا إِلَّا فِي التُّرَابِ , أَوْ قَالَ : " فِي الْبِنَاءِ " .
´It was narrated that Harithah bin Mudarrib said:` “We came to Khabbab to visit him (when he was sick), and he said: ‘I have been sick for a long time, and were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Do not wish for death,” I would have wished for it.’ And he said: “A person will be rewarded for all his spending, except for (what he spends) on dust,” or he said, “on building.”
Hadith 4237
´It was narrated that Umm Salamah said:` “By the One Who took his (ﷺ) soul, he did not die until most of his prayers were offered sitting down. And the most beloved of deeds to him was a righteous deed which a person persists in doing, even if it is something small.”
Hadith 4283

أَبِي إِسْحَاق , عَنْ
عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ , عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قُبَّةٍ , فَقَالَ : " أَتَرْضَوْنَ أَنْ تَكُونُوا رُبُعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " , قُلْنَا : بَلَى , قَالَ : " أَتَرْضَوْنَ أَنْ تَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " , قُلْنَا : نَعَمْ , قَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا نِصْفَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ , وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ لَا يَدْخُلُهَا إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُسْلِمَةٌ , وَمَا أَنْتُمْ فِي أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ , إِلَّا كَالشَّعَرَةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ فِي جِلْدِ الثَّوْرِ الْأَسْوَدِ , أَوْ كَالشَّعَرَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ فِي جِلْدِ الثَّوْرِ الْأَحْمَرِ " .
´It was narrated that ‘Abdullah said:` “We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a tent, and he said: ‘Will it not please you to be one quarter of the people of Paradise?’ We said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘Will it not please you to be one third of the people of Paradise?’ We said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise. For no one will enter Paradise but a Muslim soul, and among the people of polytheism you are like a white hair on the hide of a black bull, or like a black hair on the hide of a red bull.’”
Hadith 4340
´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever asks for Paradise, three times, Paradise will say: “O Allah, admit him to Paradise.” And whoever asked to be saved from Hell, three times, Hell will say: “O Allah, save him from Hell.”
