Hadith 728
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَاشِرُنِي وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ، وَكَانَ أَمْلَكَكُمْ لِإِرْبِهِ " .
´Aishah narrated:` "The Messenger of Allah would fondle me while he was fasting, and he had the most control among you of his limb (li irbihi)."
Hadith 2470
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهُمْ ذَبَحُوا شَاةً ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهَا ؟ " قَالَتْ : مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهَا إِلَّا كَتِفُهَا ، قَالَ : " بَقِيَ كُلُّهَا غَيْرَ كَتِفِهَا " , قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَأَبُو مَيْسَرَةَ هُوَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ اسْمُهُ : عَمْرُو بْنُ شُرَحْبِيلَ .
´Abu Maisarah narrated from 'Aishah that they had slaughtered a sheep, so the Prophet (s.a.w) said:` "What remains of it?" She said: "Nothing remains of it except its shoulder." He said: "All of it remains except its shoulder."
Hadith 3049
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانَ شِفَاءٍ ، فَنَزَلَتِ الَّتِي فِي الْبَقَرَةِ يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ سورة البقرة آية 219 ، فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانَ شِفَاءٍ ، فَنَزَلَتِ الَّتِي فِي النِّسَاءِ يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلاةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَى سورة النساء آية 43 فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنَ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانَ شِفَاءٍ فَنَزَلَتِ الَّتِي فِي الْمَائِدَةِ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ سورة المائدة آية 91 فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ ، فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : انْتَهَيْنَا انْتَهَيْنَا " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مُرْسَلٌ .
´Narrated 'Amr bin Shurahbil [Abu Maisarah]:` from 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, that he said: "O Allah! Make the verdict concerning Khamr sufficiently clear for us!" So (the Ayah) in Al-Baqarah was revealed: They ask you concerning Khamr and gambling. Say: "In them is a great sin (2:219)." So 'Umar was called, and it was recited to him, so he said: "O Allah! Make the verdict concerning Khamr sufficiently clear for us!" So (the Ayah) in An-Nisa was revealed: 'O you who believe! Approach not As-Salat while you are in a drunken state (4:43).' So 'Umar was called and it was recited him, so he said "O Allah! Make the verdict concerning Khamr sufficiently clear for us!" So (the Ayah) in Al-Ma'idah was revealed: Shaitan only wants to excite enmity and hatred between you with Khamr and gambling...' up to His saying: 'So will you not then abstain (5:91).' So 'Umar was called and it was recited to him, so he said: 'We abstained, we abstained.'" Abü Maisarah narrated from 'Umar bin Al-Khattab who said: "0 Allah! Make the verdict concerning Khamr sufficiently clear for us!"
Hadith 3049
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانَ شِفَاءٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ، وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ .
The author narrated through the mursal chain of Isra'il with the chain «أبي إسحق عن أبي ميسرة عمرو بن شرحبيل أن عمر بن الخطاب» that he said: "O Allah! Clearly explain the ruling of wine for us." Then he narrated the hadith similar to the previous hadith. © Imam Tirmidhi says: And this narration is more authentic than the narration of Muhammad bin Yusuf 4.
Hadith 3182
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّ الذَّنْبِ أَعْظَمُ ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْ تَجْعَلَ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا وَهُوَ خَلَقَكَ " ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : ثُمَّ مَاذَا ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْ تَقْتُلَ وَلَدَكَ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ مَعَكَ " ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : ثُمَّ مَاذَا ؟ قَالَ : " أَنْ تَزْنِيَ بِحَلِيلَةِ جَارِكَ " ، قَالَ : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ .
´Narrated 'Abdullah:` "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! What is the worst sin?' He said: 'That you make and equal to Allah, while it is He who created you.'" He said: "I said: 'Then what?' He said: 'That you kill your child fearing that he will eat with you.'" He said: "I said: 'Then what?' He said: 'That you commit adultery with your neighbors wife.'"
Hadith 3182
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ بُنْدَارٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، بِمِثْلِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
‘With this chain also,’ Abu Wa’il narrated from Amr bin Shurahbil, and Amr bin Shurahbil from Abdullah bin Mas’ud, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), in a similar manner. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
