Hadith 730
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " أُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ ، وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ " .
´It was narrated that Anas said:` "Bilal was commanded to say the phrases of the Adhan twice and the phrases of the Iqamah once."
Hadith 1222
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ شَبَّةَ بْنِ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَأَحْدَثَ ، فَلْيُمْسِكْ عَلَى أَنْفِهِ ، ثُمَّ لِيَنْصَرِفْ " .
´It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “When anyone of you performs prayer and commits Hadath, (passing wind) let him take hold of his nose, then leave.” Another chain with similar wording.
Hadith 1974
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ وَالصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ سورة النساء آية 128 فِي رَجُلٍ كَانَتْ تَحْتَهُ امْرَأَةٌ قَدْ طَالَتْ صُحْبَتُهَا ، وَوَلَدَتْ مِنْهُ أَوْلَادًا ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْتَبْدِلَ بِهَا ، فَرَاضَتْهُ عَلَى أَنْ تُقِيمَ عِنْدَهُ وَلَا يَقْسِمَ لَهَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "This Verse 'And making peace is better.' was revealed concerning a man who had been married to a woman for a long time, and she had given birth to his children and he wanted to exchange her (for a new wife). She agreed that he would stay with her (the new wife) and would not give her (the first wife) a share of his time. (i.e.) not spend the nights with her)."
Hadith 2303
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ سَلِيطِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الطُّهَوِيِّ ، عَنْ ذُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَوْفِ بْنِ شَمَّاخٍ الطُّهَوِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ ، إِذْ رَأَيْنَا إِبِلًا مَصْرُورَةً بِعِضَاهِ الشَّجَرِ ، فَثُبْنَا إِلَيْهَا ، فَنَادَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَجَعْنَا إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْإِبِلَ لِأَهْلِ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ هُوَ قُوتُهُمْ وَيُمْنُهُمْ بَعْدَ اللَّهِ أَيَسُرُّكُمْ لَوْ رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَى مَزَاوِدِكُمْ فَوَجَدْتُمْ مَا فِيهَا قَدْ ذُهِبَ بِهِ أَتُرَوْنَ ذَلِكَ عَدْلًا " ، قَالُوا : لَا ، قَالَ : " فَإِنَّ هَذَا كَذَلِكَ " ، قُلْنَا : أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِنِ احْتَجْنَا إِلَى الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : " كُلْ وَلَا تَحْمِلْ وَاشْرَبْ وَلَا تَحْمِلْ " .
´Abu Hurairah said:` “While we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, we saw some camels with their udders tied, among some thorny trees. We rushed towards it, but the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) called us and we came back to him. He said: 'These camels belong to a family of Muslims, and this is their support (and blessing) after Allah. Would you be happy if you went back to your vessels and found that what was in them had been taken away? Do you think that is fair?' They said: 'No.' He said: 'This is like that.' We said: 'What do you think if we are in need of food and drink?' He said: 'Eat but do not carry any away: drink but do not carry any away."'
Hadith 2587
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَأَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْجُوبَارِيُّ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مُقَدَّمٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ تَعْلِيقِ الْيَدِ فِي الْعُنُقِ ، فَقَالَ : السُّنَّةُ " قَطَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَ رَجُلٍ ثُمَّ عَلَّقَهَا فِي عُنُقِهِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn Muhairiz said:` “I asked Fadalah bin Ubaid about hanging the hand (of the thief) from this neck, and he said: 'It is sunnah. The messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cut off a man's hand then hung it from his neck'''
Hadith 4263
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ , وَعُمَرُ بْنُ شَبَّةَ بْنِ عَبِيدَةَ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ , أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ , عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِذَا كَانَ أَجَلُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِأَرْضٍ , أَوْثَبَتْهُ إِلَيْهَا الْحَاجَةُ , فَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَقْصَى أَثَرِهِ , قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَهُ , فَتَقُولُ الْأَرْضُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ : رَبِّ هَذَا مَا اسْتَوْدَعْتَنِي " .
´It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “If the appointed time of death of anyone of you is in a certain land, some need will cause him to go there, then when he reaches the furthest point that it is decreed he will reach, Allah takes (his soul). And on the Day of Resurrection the earth will say: ‘My Lord, this is what You entrusted to me.’”
