Hadith 39
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ مُطَهَّرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ ، وَلَنْ يُشَادَّ الدِّينَ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا غَلَبَهُ ، فَسَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالْغَدْوَةِ وَالرَّوْحَةِ وَشَيْءٍ مِنَ الدُّلْجَةِ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights." Hadith 4264
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا حَيَّا ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ : السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ ذِي الْجَنَاحَيْنِ " .
Narrated 'Amir: Whenever Ibn `Umar greeted the son of Ja`far, he used to say (to him), "Assalam 'Alaika (i.e. peace be on you) O the son of two-winged person."
Hadith 6419
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ مُطَهَّرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَعْذَرَ اللَّهُ إِلَى امْرِئٍ أَخَّرَ أَجَلَهُ حَتَّى بَلَّغَهُ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً " ، تَابَعَهُ أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، وَابْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Allah will not accept the excuse of any person whose instant of death is delayed till he is sixty years of age."
Hadith 6474
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، سَمِعَ أَبَا حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ يَضْمَنْ لِي مَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ ، وَمَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ أَضْمَنْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةَ " .
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him."
Hadith 6807
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ . ح وحَدَّثَنِي خَلِيفَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ لِي مَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ ، وَمَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ ، تَوَكَّلْتُ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " .
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d: The Prophet said, "Whoever guarantees me (the chastity of) what is between his legs (i.e. his private parts), and what is between his jaws (i.e., his tongue), I guarantee him Paradise."
