Hadith 855
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، وَعَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " فَلَمَّا قَالَ : وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7 ، سورة الفاتحة آية 7 قَالَ : آمِينَ ، فَسَمِعْنَاهَا " .
´It was narrated from ‘Abdul-Jabbar bin Wa’il that his father said:` “I performed prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ) and when he said: ‘Nor of those who went astray’,[1:7] he said Amin and we heard that from him.”
Hadith 943
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرِو بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ حُرَيْث بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْعَلْ تِلْقَاءَ وَجْهِهِ شَيْئًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيَنْصِبْ عَصًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيَخُطَّ خَطًّا ، ثُمَّ لَا يَضُرُّهُ مَا مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “When anyone of you performs prayer, let him put something in front of him. If he cannot find anything then let him put a stick. If he cannot find one, then let him draw a line. Then it will not matter if anything passes in front of him.”
Hadith 1098
حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ غُرَابٍ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمُ عِيدٍ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ ، فَمَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ طِيبٌ فَلْيَمَسَّ مِنْهُ ، وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘This day is an ‘Eid (festival) which Allah has ordained for the Muslims. Whoever comes to Friday (prayer), let him take a bath and if he has perfume then let him put some on. And upon you (I urge to use) is the tooth stick.”
Hadith 1524
حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، وَسَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : مَاتَ رَأْسُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ، وَأَوْصَى أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنْ يُكَفِّنَهُ فِي قَمِيصِهِ ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَكَفَّنَهُ فِي قَمِيصِهِ ، وَقَامَ عَلَى قَبْرِهِ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلا تُصَلِّ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ مَاتَ أَبَدًا وَلا تَقُمْ عَلَى قَبْرِهِ سورة التوبة آية 84 .
´It was narrated that Jabir said:` “The leader of the hypocrites in Al- Madinah died, and left instructions that the Prophet (ﷺ) should offer the funeral prayer for him and shroud him in his shirt. He offered the funeral prayer for him and shrouded him in his shirt, and stood by his grave. Then Allah revealed the words: ‘And never pray (the funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave.” [9:84]
Hadith 2343
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، وَعَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ دَهْثَمِ بْنِ قُرَّانٍ ، عَنْ نِمْرَانَ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ قَوْمًا اخْتَصَمُوا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خُصٍّ كَانَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَبَعَثَ حُذَيْفَةَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ فَقَضَى لِلَّذِينَ يَلِيهِمُ الْقِمْطُ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ : " أَصَبْتَ وَأَحْسَنْتَ " .
´It was narrated from Nimran bin Jariyah, from his father, that :` some people referred a dispute to the Prophet (ﷺ) about a hut, so that he could judge between them. He sent Hudhaifah to judge between them, and he ruled in favor of those who had the rope (with which the hut was blinded together). When he went back to the Prophet (ﷺ) he told him (what he had done) and he said: “You did the right thing, and you did well.”
Hadith 2474
حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ غُرَابٍ ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جَدْعَانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا الشَّيْءُ الَّذِي لَا يَحِلُّ مَنْعُهُ ؟ قَالَ : " الْمَاءُ وَالْمِلْحُ وَالنَّارُ " ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا الْمَاءُ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاهُ فَمَا بَالُ الْمِلْحِ وَالنَّارِ ، قَالَ : يَا حُمَيْرَاءُ ! مَنْ أَعْطَى نَارًا ، فَكَأَنَّمَا تَصَدَّقَ بِجَمِيعِ مَا أَنْضَجَتْ تِلْكَ النَّارُ ، وَمَنْ أَعْطَى مِلْحًا ، فَكَأَنَّمَا تَصَدَّقَ بِجَمِيعِ مَا طَيَّبَ ذَلِكَ الْمِلْحُ ، وَمَنْ سَقَى مُسْلِمًا شَرْبَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ حَيْثُ يُوجَدُ الْمَاءُ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً ، وَمَنْ سَقَى مُسْلِمًا شَرْبَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ حَيْثُ لَا يُوجَدُ الْمَاءُ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَاهَا " .
´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), what are the things which are not permissible to withhold?” He said: “Water, salt and fire.” She said: “I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), we know what water is, but what about salt and fire?” He said: “O Humaira', whoever gives fire (to another), it is as if he has given in charity all the food that is cooked on that fire. And whoever gives salt, it is as if he has given in charity all that the salt makes good. And whoever gives a Muslim water to drink when water is available, it is as if he freed a slave; and whoever gives a Muslim water to drink when there is no water available, it is as if he brought him back to life.”
Hadith 2636
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، وَعَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ دَهْثَمِ بْنِ قُرَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي نِمْرَانُ بْنُ جَارِيَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا ضَرَبَ رَجُلًا عَلَى سَاعِدِهِ بِالسَّيْفِ فَقَطَعَهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ مَفْصِلٍ ، فَاسْتَعْدَى عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِالدِّيَةِ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْقِصَاصَ ، قَالَ : " خُذْ الدِّيَةَ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِيهَا " وَلَمْ يَقْضِ لَهُ بِالْقِصَاصِ .
´Nimran bin Jariyah narrated from his father that :` a man struck another man on the wrist with his sword and severed it, not at the joint. He appealed to the Prophet (ﷺ) who ordered that the Diyah be paid. The man said: “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I want retaliation.” He said: “Take the compensation and may Allah bless you therein.” And he did not rule that he be allowed retaliation.
