Hadith 38
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي حَدِيثًا وَهُوَ يُرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated from 'Ali that:` The Prophet (ﷺ) said: '"Whoever narrates a Hadith from me thinking it to be false, then he is one of the two liars." (Either the one who invents a lie or the one who repeats it; both are liars).
Hadith 1352
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تَطَوُّعًا ، فَمَرَّ بِآيَةِ عَذَابٍ ، فَقَالَ : " أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَوَيْلٌ لِأَهْلِ النَّارِ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Laila said:` “I prayed beside the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was praying voluntary prayers at night. He recited a Verse which mentioned punishment and said: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire, woe to the people of the Fire.’”
Hadith 3747
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ , وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ , عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا اسْتَشَارَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ , فَلْيُشِرْ عَلَيْهِ " .
´It was narrated from Jabir that that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "If one of you consults his brother, then let him advise him."
